I typically don’t have any issues when I come here. But I purchased two of the fenty vanilla sets today as gifts along with some other stuff. One for a friend and another for my mother. My mom decided to open hers today when we left and we were just not impressed with the throw of the scent. It’s barely there for all the items in the set! And for the price, I decided to return the sets - same day mind you. The girl at the register was really weird about it. I had my receipt. I had been there hours prior - per the receipt. Everything was in its original packaging. I don’t know what the issue was but I repeatedly told her that one set was still unopened and that all my mom did was lift up the tabs off her set to sniff all 3 items. The tabs were not even fully pulled off. Nobody had used anything in the bottles. She was making weird facial expressions, and kept asking me over and over! “So you didn’t use the set?” Almost like she couldn’t believe that we hadn’t used the items or done anything to them. It was off putting. I will be more mindful of buying into the hype for stuff because again - it was a letdown in our opinion. I also don’t like associates being weird in front of other customers. I don’t know what all has previously occurred at this store to make an associate behave the odd way she did but I personally tend to make large purchases every-time I come and it is rare for me to make returns. So maybe that behavior is normal when you return things here, in which case, I guess wouldn’t have known until now. It was also odd, she saw that of all the things I bought today on that receipt, I only returned the sets….because they were mid….I don’t need to scam or get over if that’s what her deal was and I definitely don’t care for any kind of spectacle when it comes to getting my money back. Especially not for something I only had a few hours while I went to lunch and in other stores.

I wish I could leave no stars. I came in asking the new eyebrow lady to just clean up my brows and not thin them. She left me with no eyebrows.

So last week I headed to Ulta two hours before MY bridal shower. I had gotten a spray tan for the first time and realized none of my makeup would look right. I got a few concerned looks when I mentioned what I was there for and my time limit… lol. A few different girls helped me out. They were realistic and honest with me about what products I should get and they rightfully steered me away from other ideas I had. Shelby (I believe that was her name) went above and beyond. Super, super pleased. I think my makeup turned out great! I also found some new products that are going to be in my rotation.

I had a very positive experience with the staff at this location. When I walked through the door, I was greeted with bright smiles, kindness, and warm invitations to help me find what I was looking for. I was very impressed with how welcoming the staff was. My boyfriend and I were greeted warming upon entering the store and we were asked multiple times if we were finding everything okay! This was both appreciated and surprising, as many other Ultas in the area seem hesitant to welcome two men in the store. The girl who checked us out was especially accommodating and polite. This is our new favorite Ulta location and we will certainly be back -signed two Diamond members.

Listennnnnn I’ve not had much luck here in the past, however, last night I brought my 13yo daughter in to be shade matched and Mateo completely rocked it! They took our concerns seriously, were respectful, polite, and continually checked on us as we wondered throughout the store. The products they recommended were a 10/10. Keep Mateo, and we’ll be back! ✨👸🏼

So this store alone I have given multiple chances to, just with simple customer service. I feel like the employees are more worried about making sure they look good rather than helping or greeting customers. And when you go to check out the cashier is never smiling or just gives off the vibes like you are bothering them. I’ve worked retail before and understand it can be tiring but a simply hi, how are you, or even a smile would be great and welcoming.
