VFW Evans in Georgia is a welcoming veteran's facility with a full canteen and a variety of events. It is open for lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and dinner from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The VFW hosts bingo on Tuesdays, trivia on Thursdays, and live bands on Fridays with no cover charge. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, with friendly staff and volunteers who create a fun environment. Members, service members, and their families are encouraged to visit and enjoy good food, special events, and helpful service officers to assist with VA matters. Despite being relatively new, it has become a strong and welcoming community spot.

Great place! Very friendly staff. One of the only bar type places in Columbia County. Decent selection of whiskey and cheap beer. They also serve some pretty good bar food.

Received an invitation to attend a Quilt of Valor Ceremony, for Veteran who was being presented a Quilt. The ceremony was very well put together by the dedicated VFW Staff.
It was indeed an honor and a privilege to attend The Quilt of Valor Ceremony.
