Horrible customer service. Teller was rude. Not helpful. Talking about customers as they are walking out. Too easy to close the account I’ve had since 1992. Would highly not recommend this branch. 0 stars

While I was hesitant to go into the Evans Wells Fargo based on the poor reviews, because it is close to my home, I took a chance. Today, I went in to cash a check that was refused at the teller machine last week based on my last name on my bank account not matching the check. My deceased husband's name is also on the check. I went into the bank and stood in the teller line for assistance. The first teller didn't know how to proceed and asked for help from the teller next to her. They loudly talked amongst themselves without acknowledging me, and the second teller kept making inappropriate comments about how she didn't like how the U.S. Treasury wrote my dead husband's name on the check, which was very insensitive to me and inappropriate. While they kept talking loudly amongst themselves, I offered to give them the letter Wells Fargo sent, and they kept cutting me off rudely without looking at me or even acknowledging me standing there. After I repeated that I could give them the letter, the second teller, out of exasperation, told me that I would need to speak with a banker and abruptly handed me back my check. I was taken aback by the rudeness and unprofessionalism exhibited by both tellers. I have banked with Wells Fargo ( First Union, Wachovia, and now Wells Fargo) for 33 years. Their behavior not only embarrassed me but visibly upset me. Nonetheless, I sat down in tears for a banker while contemplating leaving and going to the Walton Way/Wheeler Rd. Branch where I'm always met with a smile and professionalism. I ended up speaking with banker Jeff Bowers, who I immediately told that I'm autistic ( it's notated in my bank account) because I was afraid of receiving the same unprofessional treatment. This young man was professional and showed compassion regarding my deceased husband, whose name is on the check. He took his time answering my questions and made me feel at ease. While I was still frazzled by the two tellers' unprofessional behavior, Jeff had me laughing by the time that I left his office. It's hit-or-miss with how these people treat customers regarding professionalism, which is very disheartening. It's even moreso disheartening for me, an exceptional needs adult who is terrified of these types of interactions. Good job, Jeff, poor job, two front-line tellers. Sadly, now I see why this branch has only 2 out of 5 stars.

Sold a car and was given a check for $20k from Wells Fargo. Went to this branch to cash it. The teller said they couldn't do it. Didn't even say she would check if they had the funds. This is a national bank that should easily be able to cash a check of this amount... Where's the money??

This branch has continued to exhibit poor awful customer service day after day month after month year after year I see why the turnover in employees is so high here. What awful people. It always is so funny to me that they get upset that we have a lot of deposits. They really really don’t like to sit and count money I know ironic right? They get upset if you have a lot of deposits because it takes away from their precious time of sitting around doing nothing

Extremely poor customer service at this location. Save yourself time and frustration. Go to the one on the corner of Belair and Columbia Rd instead of this one.

I’ve banked w Wells for a number of years but it’s become impossible to manage my business needs. They have turned everything over to technology, it’s impossible to call the local branch and actually talk to a human. I’ve attempted multiple times on multiple days. It’s time to move on…

Going out of the country. Went into the bank 20 minutes before closing. Picked up my foreign currency that I ordered. Asked if I could exchange a worn and torn $10 bill for a newer one. Cashier said she didn’t have any without looking. The employees have one eye on the clock and one on the door. Don’t got too close to 5 of you want good customer service.

I love the experience and customer service at this location. Everyone is friendly and eager to assist. They provide you with all options for getting the best return on your investments. Of course interest returns have limitations with any banking facility due to COVID. But they do their best ?

I have been doing personal business and business through my job with Wellsfargo for years without any issues. Today i went to cash a check made out to the business ( as i have done many times before for the last 5 years without any issues ) until today. I was told that the check could not be cashed by the manager Nichole because it was not made out to me personally. This lady was very rude and disrespectful in the way she speaks to customers, when trying to speak with her she kept cutting me off as i was speaking and trying to get info as to going fwd. I then said i will wait to speak until you finish. She then said i wont be spoken to that way and we are done. I then told her she had a very nasty attitude and she was unprofessional. This whole interaction is unbelievable... I feel as if Nichole wanted to be confrontational. I really feel Nichole doesnt deserve her position as a Manager with Wells fargo based on the way she treated me. Also if she was so comfortable treating me this way, she has treated others the same. This is truly unbeleivable and yes i have messaged my corporate office and Director of this encounterAfter speaking with corporate Nichole could have and should have done aMerchant cash order, having my ID, the company bank account and an additional ID, this is what they have been doing the last 5 years, if she didnt know how to she could have asked someone instead of berating a customerVery disapointed

Sat in drive thru with no movement in any lane for 20 minutes.
