I only wish there was a zero star rating. The salesman talked real sweet game and told me that he'd be with us throughout the move. We moved across country and had a guaranteed rate. All of the sudden the weight of our shipment increased by 2000 pounds. Considering we had already sold our couch, king size bed, all the bedroom furniture, the dining room, and more things there is no way we increased but they demanded another $2000 or they would not deliver our items. they packed in such a way that we have more broken things than we have ever had and all the years we've been moving for business purposes. When you open the box and find no white paper to wrap your breakables, you just cry before you even get any further. We paid for unpacking service , and when the driver arrived, he had absolutely no idea that we had paid for a full unpack, and we have had to wait a full week for them to get people out to unpack. We were supposed to have a total of eight boxes that were for closing, and we got two, all of our clothes were taken off hangers, and the hangers placed on top of the clothes in the top of the box just loose laying around. fortunately we had furnished our new home prior to arrival or we would not have had anything that we could use to live. When we unpacked one box that had been in the truck, the driver brought it off, soaking wet, leaking chemicals, the idiots that Coleman hired to pack us packed chemicals from under the sink that they were told not to pack, and the chemicals exploded in the truck and on top of that , we had food in the same box rocket science tells me you don't mix under the sink items with food. The driver said he picked up the load from the warehouse floor. We had been told it was going right onto a moving truck that it was being shuttle from our home to an 18 wheeler that also turned out to be a lie . Our items sat in a warehouse for seven days. So if you want a really eventful move one where nothing is packed correctly and the service is below one star then call Coleman Allied if you expect service quality guarantee and professionalism call anybody but them I'm sure U-Haul could've done better .

If I could have rated this company as a 0 I would have. We shopped around and went with Allied Coleman because of the relationship I formed with the agent who helped us. We thought all was good then it started. First came the call stating I had to pay extra for being rural. Then the second call came on moving day, stating I had to pay extra because the truck could not make it down the street. I refused to pay for the U-Haul rental and explained I had a contract and there was no reason why the truck couldn't make it down our street. They packed up our belongings and were off. When the delivery was scheduled at the new house across country, it arrived destroyed. All the boxes were damaged and furniture was broken and destroyed. After taking pictures and filing a claim they gave me a check for $1300.00. So not worth it. Do not use this company. The movers are lazy and don't care what happens to your belongings.

This experience was horrendous! The Sales guy was great! However, the back office and the crew were terrible (with one exception and I will address that later). This was a local, multiple move situation (25 miles to the storage unit and 25 miles out of the unit) into storage, then out of storage 1 month later. The move into storage was the worse! Quote was for 1 truck 3 men. 4 men show up and I'm now on the phone trying to get this addressed (don't need this on a hectic moving day as it is). Then I find out that they have old paperwork and the location to where they are taking the items is not correct. Next, I find out that, because they have old paperwork, they don't have packing materials for lamps and the lampshades. I am on the phone again to address this. Nothing can be done about this unless I want to wait 1-3 hours for the right packing materials to be brought to the crew. The lead crew guy says, "not a worry, we can take care of it just fine". I trusted him, my bad. Well, come to find out, it wasn't taken care of. At the end of the process I see 5 lamp shades sitting on the floor and now I'm told they don't have any boxes, so I give them 4 of mine. The boxes were clearly marked "Lampshades, FRAGILE, DO NOT CRUSH". Well, two broken lamps and 3 crushed lampshades at the end of the day. Now they are moving heavy furniture and a large refridgerator down 18 steps on a two wheel dolly with no safety strap holding the items on. They managed to get the items down the steps and still on the dolly, but COME ON, no straps! I was a nervous wreck watching them. I asked about straps and the response was a simple "they didn't give us any". BTW way, the crew consisted of what I would say one very experienced guy, two with a couple years experience and one brand new. Now at the storage unit, as they are unloading the truck at 3:30 PM I see that the unit is getting full and there is still quite a bit still on the truck. I asked the lead crew guy (he was not the one actually in the unit arranging the items - he should have been) if he was sure the unit will hold all the items because once the facility office closes at 5PM I don't have a plan B. he assured ne 3 times it will all fit (BTW - the unit size was based on their recommendation). Long story short, 3 hours later and the unit being packed, unpacked and packed again it all just barely fit and how they ended up putting stuff in the unit was a disaster. Ended up with broken lamps, leg broken off a large dresser, lawn mower wheel bent and muffler damaged, etc, etc. Now I am dealing with a Claims company that is just as bad as the movers. Three weeks after filing the claim, the only communication has been an email that they received the claim. DO NOT USE COLEMAN/ALLIED FOR YOUR MOVE!!!!!!

Noreen McRoyal was my contact to set up my move from Alpharetta, Ga to Berwyn, Ill. I was extremely stressed during this time and Noreen was patient and went step by step with me. The 3 people who did the move were, professional, diligent and polite. The move out of Georgia was smooth thanks to Noreen and the 3 movers. I would recommend Noreen as a contact should I know of anyone else moving out of Georgia. Thank you all for the wonderful and efficient service.

David went above and beyond in providing exceptional client service during our move. I have moved 6 times in the last 20 years and have never received the level of service that David provided. I can’t say enough about the great experience we had because of him!

If you don’t care about your belongings this is your company. Packing was unbelievable. True lack of caring about your belongings.

This is the worst moving company!! I wrote a review a few weeks ago that they removed. They delivered 1/2 of our stuff weeks late. Several things broken and/or stained. They WAY under estimated price. And customer service is zero help. Here's a picture of how the loaded our cushions for sofa and chairs. All stained now.

The movers were great. They loaded everything up in just 3 hours, and delivered our stuff from Atlanta to Gulf Shores in just one day. Same crew that loaded us Wednesday, unloaded us on Friday. It was our fastest move ever!

The packers, unpackers and driver were very diligent with their work. There was an issue with moving our cars the day before they were to be moved that I believe could have been handled prior and would have been a lot less stressful as we were trying to deal with the movers and handle our cars at the same time. In the end it all worked out great. Our items were delivered to our new home very quickly, the driver was great and very helpful during the process. The unpackers did a great job working fast and getting everything in our home.

I interviewed 3 moving companies but this is the only company that sent the surveyor to my house to get an accurate assessment of what was being moved. Coleman also told me that marble cracks easy (I have a coffee table with marble slabs and was not aware) and should be crated to keep it from getting cracked during the move. They use a 3rd party vendor that came to the house a couple hours ahead of the move. The driver kept me informed of his schedule so that I knew when to expect them. They took care with my furniture and other items.

If there was a way to give a negative star rating, I absolutely would. This was by far the worst moving experience that I have ever experienced and I have yet to hear back from the company, even though one of their workers was caught on my cameras stealing my things. David Smith, came to our home on November 28th at 1pm. He completed a walk through and provided an estimate on the number of trucks and movers we would need for our local move. David assured us that our six bedroom home could be packed up in one day and moved into our new place the next day. As a result of his confidence, we rearranged both closings so that we would be able to close first thing in the morning. At the conclusion of our meeting, my husband and I were assured that our home would be moved in a semi-trailer. Much to our surprise, on the day of our move, the movers showed up with two 16 foot box trucks. Once they arrived, one of the movers promptly stated that the trucks would not be large enough to move our entire home. They promptly called management and a larger truck was not authorized. At 5:30 pm, the movers advised my husband and I that they had loaded all that they could in the truck and would have to unload at our new house the next morning and come back and get the remaining items. I explained to the "Team Lead" that was unacceptable and wouldn't work, because the buyers for the home they were packing up, were expecting to do a walk through at 8:00 am and the house need to be vacant in order for us to close on time. I also explained that we would not be able to unload at the new house, because I hadn't closed on it yet, and wouldn't be able to without closing on my current home first, so this all had to go smoothly. He assured me that they would be back first thing in the morning and would even rent a truck if they had to. The next morning, instead of showing up to my current home with an additional truck, the moving crew shows up at the new home insisting that I let them in to off load the truck so that they could go get the rest of the things from my current home. I reminded the team lead of our previous conversation and he said, we aren't renting a truck and you just need to let us in. I refused and called David. David was very rude and condescending and stated that since I was also a Realtor and had access to the key, I needed to let them in. I explained to David that not only was what he was suggesting illegal, it was also unethical. He then proceeded to accuse me of adding things to the move and the move being 4000 lbs over what he estimated. I explained to David that as the "moving professional", the estimating was completely up to him. I granted him full access to my home prior to scheduling, so that he could see everything that needed moving and the only thing that wasn't supposed to make the journey was my dining room table and six chairs, clearly not 4000 lbs. So if any mistake was made, it was on his part. He then blamed the crew for bringing the wrong vehicle, stating that he had authorized a flat bed trailer and would get to the bottom of it and get everything taken care of. Well because of their error, the buyer wasn't able to complete the walk through that morning and both closings were pushed back until later on that afternoon. However, by the time I made it back to our current home, David had texted my husband something totally different than what he told me. He basically told my husband in text (which I have saved) that they weren't renting a truck and would sit outside the house and charge us per each additional hour if I didn't use the key (without the owner's permission) and let them into the house to unload our things. I then called David and he refused to answer the phone, but continued to send my husband and I text messages recanting his error and threatening us with additional charges, even though the mistake was clearly his. My husband even sent them the information for rental trucks that he found that were available. After the last text message my

1 star is too good of a rating. Very unprofessional and they came unprepared. I have lots of missing and damaged items that cost a lot and some of those items were brand new. Some boxes were repacked without out our consent or presence and we had no knowledge of it until it was delivered. There were also used disposable facemasks in most of the boxes. Nasty.

One of the Colerman moving crews was found trespassing on our corporate property. When security personnel were asked to approach them, they were disrespectful and drove away honking and flipping off the security personnel. There was no license plate displayed on the truck, either. I would never handle this kind of person to enter a home, or business and handle your things. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect would translate to how they handle your things and whether they might steal some of the things that they move. There was no respect, or honor to indicate that they would be trustworthy. A business that allows this kind of behavior should not survive.
