My son currently goes here. I called to let them know we were gonna be a minute late because there was an accident but I was near the school. I was informed that my child would not be allowed to stay due to short staff. I then had to call off from work. Very inconvenient and unprofessional.

This is by far the best school my son has attended. If you want your kids to have the best learning experience this is the place. My son is now in public school and is very much ahead of his class with learning. From the owner Mrs. Battle down to his teacher Ms. Elaine are the best. The staff really have a passion for the kids at the school. Look no further your child will have the best learning opportunity here at Discovery Point.

Very organized daycare. I never have any problems. The summer program provided was great. The kids went on 2 field trips a week. I have 2 younger children in the 2 year old classroom. They follow the same elementary cycle so they were all elevated into the older classroom and began schooling. They even now wear uniform and follow a structured learning course

Our son attended summer camp at the Fayetteville location for several weeks while we transitioned from moving out of state to him going to kindergarten. The staff, specifically Miss Tina, was wonderful in helping him through the transition and providing a great environment for him. He looked forward to going to camp each day. I would recommend this center and the staff.

They did all four my babies wrong and it's too much to type. They sent my daughter home with a rash and I took her home and open her legs and it looks like someone tried to split her. I'm the only one who change my daughter other than the school she was always clean. It was not a rash as they said it looked more like a scape or scab. They sent her diaper cream back home unopen. And it looked likest put Vaseline on her instead of what I bought. Not sure what they used on my baby. They messed up all her brand-new outfits and refused to put bib on her during meals.

Upon turning 2, my child attended Discovery Point. Our family just moved to the area. Despite having a language delay, the center said that they'd be willing to work with my child. However, over the next 4 weeks, she was repeatedly sent home. She was even threatened with suspension due to behavior. My child, who had never previously had any behavior issues at previous daycare centers was said to be "intentionally hitting the teacher and a student". At 2 years old, I find the intent highly unlikely. When I spoke to her teacher, she admitted that her class was very full. She didn't have time to work with my child. Additionally, the center director stated that maybe she would be better served in a smaller environment with a smaller student to teacher ratio. Another staff member made the condescending comment that her behavior was a reflection of her home-life. I found this assumption rude, given the language delay and the new "two year old tantrum" stage that my child was experiencing . Additionally, I was also 36 weeks pregnant! During this time, I felt as though my child was regarded as a burden rather than someone who was undergoing multiple transitions. The family partnership was lacking and everyone seemed to only criticize my child. WE ONLY STAYED HERE FOR 4 WEEKS.Overall, as a fellow K-12 educator, I find the practices at this center developmentally inappropriate and overly punitive. Based on my experience, it appears that teachers and staff only believe in a one size fits all approach to education. They do not have or make the time to work with ALL students. In my opinion, pass this center by...there are plenty others in the surrounding area. My family and I found another that genuinely gets to know families and its students. If working at this center, please invest in whole brain teaching approaches as well as developmentally approaching instruction for young children. Perhaps it will help the entire team.Nonetheless, I wish them the best. Not a fit for us.

We had an excellent experience with Discovery Point. The teachers were very caring and my son learned a lot. If I had any problems with the teachers or students, I would voice my concerns with the owner and she would handle the situation. The teachers do believe in homework, so be prepared to work with your child at home.

This school is amazing. My son and I loved this daycare. Everyone is so nice and polite. His teachers help him walk. My son is delayed but they are very patient and understanding. My son been going to this daycare since he was 1. I'm sad that he does not attend any more due to funds and I'm out of work. I would recommend. This is a school that cares about kids.

I would have given them a rate of zero. My husband and I had my son for one year and a half here. Every thing he learned i've already taught him. I took him out of a smaller setting school thinking Discovery point was better.NOT they have great activities and amenities however dont really teach. And the teachers always unhappy and changing. my son class had 20 kids one of the teachers Ms. Tameka was the chef, teacher and monitored front desk. They beg for cleaning supplies and that ugly ms tina is racist. Teachers very unhappy. My baby went back to his old school and advance more in 3 weeks than in one year with kiddie kottage. knowing his bible scriptures, writing , sight words etc.and a report for him every day with 3to 5 worksheets done each day .Dont believe the hype. Discovery point at new hope is not that great. Ppl hear new hope and think of the church. Discovery point at new hope has no affiliation with new hope church

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We can't thank the teachers and staff enough for treating our kids like family. The friendly service and fun environment had us sold from our initial visit. A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Battle for truly giving our kids a "second" home!

I worked here for 5 years and my children still attend the center for ASP. The staff are all pleasant and accommodating and my children are always happy and well cared for. Couldn’t ask for a better environment for my kids
