A one star for Heritage bank in Fayetteville GA. I went to make a deposit on Friday and the bank was closed. The front doors were locked and the drive-thru shades were pulled down and the employees were standing there looking to see if we were coming around to the drive-thru. I got there at 3:18 p.m. because this deposit had to be made on Friday and I made sure that I got there on time. I am very disappointed in this bank and what made me mad was that they were standing in the drive-thru looking at the people that are coming to in the back to take care of their business with this bank, and there were no signs posted to let you know if there where something wrong with there systems or the where closing earlier.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I was greeted by a team of professionals who were eager to help me with my banking needs. Terrible customer service, a lot of time, money, and energy wasted trying to get help. You cannot reach them on the weekend or after hours like a normal bank. Has no fraud team or staff to help you with fraudulent activity. I will be taking all of my money out and banking someplace else.

A one star for Heritage bank in Fayetteville Ga, this Bank do not work with their customers & they are not patient with there customers. They do not care how the customer feel they charge me excessive fees on overdraft. It's crazy how you have to go to the branch where you open your account for them to waive your overdraft fees. The manager in Fayetteville, Their names is Julie and Denise they are so horrible & I believe they do not like people of color. I went to the bank to show them proof that they charged me excessive overdraft. Their system is so out of date I have pending transactions since February 17th almost close to 5-10 days. By the time those pending transaction got cleared, they charged me overdraft left and right. When you call customer service, they said the only person who can override those overdraft is the location where you went to open the account. It's crazy how that I have to close that account, go to another branch, and have them help me. If anyone want to go to any Heritage bank to open the account, do not go to the one in Fayetteville; the managers there will not help you; they think that's their money. Poor customer service they don't know their job. I gave the location in Fayetteville a - 0, poor customer service. I'm not happy at all with them. If anyone has any issues with this bank about overdraft fees, this company right here will help you. Here's a number that you can hire a lawyer that's will help. Free consultation. My husband and I applied for a business loan which was approved; however, there was never any sense of urgency to complete our paperwork. We made several trips to the bank in attempt to get our approved loan processed but nothing was done. We were given many excuses as to why our paperwork wasn’t processed. The staff gave off a very unpleasant vibe during our visit which didn’t sit well with my husband and I. After 4 days of calling, leaving messages, and going to the bank we finally received a call from the president of the bank but unfortunately we decided not to move forward with the loan from Heritage Bank. Our money will stay where we receive top notch customer service.

It appears i cannot see the review my wife Janice Crenshaw just left regarding the lack of friendly customer service-and the need for this bank to focus on customer service beginning with a smile that customers from diverse background might feel more welcomed. As a result she walked out & we went across the street. UNITED COMMUNITY BANK who were much more customer friendly, upon walking in the door to set up a business account

I just walked into this bank in Fayetteville, Ga. to set up a business checking account and the facial expression of one of the tellers was not pleasant at all....A Brunette with long hair, actually walked away as if to say... i rather not wait on you. The other teller who was a blond was a bit more cordial but yet not very customer friendly , never smiled or greeted with a welcome. Spending more than 35 years in healthcare quality & coaching hospitals & businesses around the country on customer service to improve their surveys to enhance revenue.... this branch could benefit from another level of training or maybe even diversity training that could possibly be the root to such unwelcoming mannerisms. However, I decided to walk out & take my business elsewhere. I would hope you take this review seriously. As one should know... perception of a customer or potential customer outweighs the opinions of why such behavior could not possibly be & word of mouth is the best advertisement of good or bad experiences. Unfortunately, my experience has been terrible. I would not recommend this bank to anyone in the future. I wasted a lot of time and resources trying to do business with them. Ultimately they had no desire to correct errors or ensure things were made right.

I have always had good service with this bank, from the inside customer service to the drive through. The 2 things I dislike about the bank: the ATM is in the back of the bank and the overnight deposit is also in the back of the bank. The only thing I have come up with is they were thinking of themselves instead of their customers. I just don't use then at night. Overall I like my bank.

I went in to only make a deposit (on someone else's account) . No welcome and no thank yous. Very poor customer service. Luckily I don't bank with them.
