I am extremely pleased with he professionalism that I always experience with H&R Block’s tax professionals. I feel more than confident that I am receiving the best advice and service that is available to me. It doesn’t matter what the end result will be financially because I know that it is the right one. More than anything, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Barry Wall for his level of expertise, organization, and kindness. I came in to do my taxes this evening, for 2023 and 2024. My appointment with with a younger girl with a name that started with a J. at 6:30. She had the desk directly behind the front counter. She looked at my documents and told me I don’t need to file because who I worked for only took $10 in taxes. She said I don’t need to file for either of the years. I told her, I already checked on the calculator with turbo tax and was supposed to be getting a lot more back for 2023. I had to explain to her about the state tax and credits and what she was looking at was from one week in January and there are more documents. I first wanted to know how much it would cost. She caked the family and marked up other things because she said the complexity of doing my taxes. Mind you, I pay $100 at HR block in my home town to usually do my taxes. This is 2023 making $12 an hour with no kids, $165. The $446 for 2024 because I have a family and alit of different deductions she would have to got through. It went from I don’t need to file because it’s not worth it, to me explaining what she should be looking at to over $600 dollars she set up to take from me. A minimum wage job single mom. I’m not sure what complexities that is especially for a TAX SPECIALIST. I’m not married, don’t own a home, not adding mileage and expenses, just simple taxes one year without my two children and 2024 with two dependents. I was really taken aback by her lack of knowledge when it came to tax credits, and deductions and how she almost sent me away telling me I don’t need to file because it’s not worth it. Didn’t even look over all my documents, just started checking things off that made the price sky rocket. Single mothers that are low income get a credit back for their children. I felt like she was trying to make sure she took a bigger chunk from me and kids once she began to check the things I was telling her. When dealing with people’s taxes and finances it’s so important places like HR block stick to those who been doing this fr many years and know it well. Not younger people who are still learning. This could potentially ruin someone financially. I left without allowing H&R Block help me this year. I’ll be letting my friends and family know about this location as well.

Mrs. Kim is literally my go-to for it all. Any and all questions are answered in full with no doubts about it! She’s a vet like myself and is fun and quirky too! She’s very knowledgeable, very sweet and has me in and out! She welcomes you very warmly so no need to be afraid of taxes, she’s gotcha covered! I’ve been coming to her for about 7years!
