I've taken my Honda Civic to performance twice now for wheel bearings and hubs
I couldn't be happier with the work my car drives extremely smooth again and I'm very grateful
They've done great work both times I've been there,
Punctual and polite when setting up an appointment
And they call to verify and make sure the correct parts are being replaced before beginning any labor
They've always been on point in all aspects in my opinion
I will definitely take my vehicle there again in the future when needed!!
It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic and performance is exactly that! Thank you for taking care of me!

Only bought some materials through them, but incredibly helpful and friendly. Only thing to me was price, but that is ok since u went through with the transaction anyways.

I can't say enough good things about Chris Wellborn and Performance Auto Care!!I was travelling through Georgia on vacation and started having problems with the locking hub on the drivers side of my 1985 CJ-7. What should have been a 5 1/2 hour trip turned into an 8 hour trip ordeal with me nursing my ride.Once I finally arrived at my destination, Performance Auto Care was recommended to me. I went over to see them the very next morning when they opened and told them my story. Chris was able to work me into his already busy schedule, found the problem to be the locking hub and replaced both of them. For good measure he pulled the axle and checked all of the roller bearings and helped me get back on the road that afternoon.You hear horror stories of being out of town with car trouble and getting raw dogged by auto shops just because they can. Performance Auto Care is just the opposite!!Chris took care of me honestly and showed me the problems as he found them. His daughter Ali was sweet enough and picked up lunch for me while I was waiting for the repairs to be completed. By the time everything was said and done they had made me feel as if I was a member of their family.If you are anywhere near Gainesville, Georgia and need a top notch mechanic go see the Wellborn's at Performance Auto Care!!

This is a late review, so my apologies. Our 2002 BMW 530i Sport sprung a leak in one of the plastic radiator end caps, and if you know BMWs, you know the plastics on the older ones can be a weak spot. In fact, this was the 2nd radiator our BMW had since 26,000 miles. Performance Auto Care, which has deep BMW knowledge, took care of our beloved BMW which was approaching 200,000 miles. Chris and his staff will take care of you. It's great to be able to talk with the professionals who actually work on your car rather only dealing with service writers at other places. They will treat you and your car with respect at Performance Auto.

So first and foremost I want to start by saying this is one of the most reliable mechanics you will find. I speak with experience cuz myself am somewhat of a mechanic so I know how some mechanics can be very shady but I speak from the heart when I say these guys are not shady pricey maybe but that's the price we pay to know that we will be taken care of and not by no shade tree mechanic someone who we can trust.

Been paranoid since my last mechanic experience, but this shop was great! Respectable,good communication, professional, fixed my wheel bearing fast,No issues here, car is driving good. Would definitely return for future services

Felt compelled to leave a review to warn other customers about this shop. Brought my car in to have my brakes and rotors looked at to get an estimate. They put my car on the rack and took a look and quoted me $1000+ dollars for just the brakes and rotors. From personal experience I know that's extremely over priced and I've never had to pay that much for this service so I told them I wanted a second opinion. He then tells me he was going to charge me $50 bucks just for putting the car on the rack to look at it because it took his time and I needed to pay for that. I have never been to a shop where I've been charged to have them give me an estimate. He ends ups charging me $54+ dollars after he took my card and typed in a higher price in his card reader. To clarify, I never was told or signed anything that stated I was going to have to pay $50 bucks to have them put my car on the rack for an estimate or I never would have gone here in the first place. Wanted to warn other customers of not only the high repair prices but also to be careful before letting them see your car because they will charge you for no service at all.Updated after response - This is the estimate I received. As you can see with the axle shaft the price was over $1400 not including taxes or the 3.99% fee. Again, for just the brakes and rotors the price was over $1000 not including the taxes and your extra fees. Also, on the estimate as you can see there is no where to be found anything about paying $50+ dollars to have you look at the vehicle for an estimate so that makes your fee irrelevant because again I should not have been responsible for paying anything I didn't agree to prior.

They did a hell of a job, only problem was the different prices that were thrown at me and thats where i can only give 3 stars. I understand that they’re still learning the new systems in the cars coming out nowadays but i had to come up with money twice because i was told different prices.

I have had a few things done at this shop. They do decent work but are way over priced. Recently had to just go get my Tahoe to keep them from way over charging me for brakes and a water pump. Would never do business again. Owner is arrogant and could care less if he does business with you. Actually charged me $105 once I told him that I couldnt pay 2K for brakes and a water pump. Will never do business with them again and would never recommend them to any of my customers.
