A pet store.
The vet raises this from a pet store to a place that truly cares.

I went here to pick up a mobile order for my boss. Staff was sweet and courteous , the store itself I'd be hard -pressed to know it was a pet store by way of smell. It was quite fine. One would think that with a menagerie of animals traipsing through there it would be rank but no, it wasn't. The store was also very clean.

Always a great experience at PetSmart in Flowery Branch! We came in to exchange a fish tank canopy and the staff made the process seamless. They’re super friendly, helpful, and always eager to assist. Found some great tank decorations too thanks to their suggestions!

I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the poor customer service my mother, Michelle Williams, received during her visit to your Flowery Branch location on April 22, 2025.
My mother had an appointment for her dog and inquired whether her dog’s medication could be called into Costco. She was told she would first need to verify with Costco that they carried the medication. After confirming that Costco did, in fact, carry it, she returned and was then informed she would need a hard copy of the prescription to have it filled. This conflicting information was frustrating, especially considering she had asked in advance if the medication could be called in—a process that has been done without issue in the past.
Seeking clarity, my mother asked the staff member assisting her, Kiana, if she could speak with a supervisor to better understand the change in procedure. Instead of bringing a supervisor, Kiana returned alone and repeated the same information. When my mother again asked to speak with a supervisor, Kiana rolled her eyes and, in an unprofessional manner, stated loudly enough for my mother to hear, “I always get the difficult customers.”
This was both rude and wholly inappropriate. My mother calmly explained that she wasn’t trying to be difficult, but was seeking clarification out of love and respect—for her pet and for your process. Kiana responded dismissively, saying, “I don’t need your love or respect.” Such behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in one where customers are entrusting the well-being of their pets to your care.
To make matters worse, after my mother retrieved the hard copy prescription and returned, Kiana delayed assisting her by taking multiple phone calls, leaving her waiting at the counter. The wait was so excessive that another customer began asking about it, which finally prompted Kiana to respond.
My mother has been a loyal client of Banfield and has always taken her dog’s care seriously. However, this is not the first negative interaction she has had with Kiana, and she no longer feels comfortable bringing her pet to this location while this employee remains on staff. Her visits should not be met with hostility or disrespect, especially when she is simply seeking information and proper care for her pet.
I kindly ask that this matter be investigated and addressed appropriately. Respect, empathy, and professionalism are the foundation of quality care, and no client should feel belittled or dismissed when seeking help.

I took my dog to PetSmart for grooming today, and before I could even get off the next exit, I received a call telling me to come back and pick her up. They claimed that my dog bit the groomer, Michaela, and described her as “very aggressive.” This was shocking to me, because my dog rarely even barks, is constantly around children, and has never shown any signs of aggression, no biting, barking, or snapping. We’ve had her for years, and she has been groomed before without any issues.
When I arrived for the appointment, no one greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked into the grooming area. The staff seemed annoyed and disorganized, and it was clear they didn’t want to take my dog because the groomer I had scheduled with had already left early. They stood around asking each other who could check me in. Just overall unprofessional behavior from the start.
When I returned to pick up my dog after the call, the groomer who supposedly got bit didn’t even come speak to me. She literally walked off and avoided me entirely. No one gave a clear explanation or tried to talk to me about what actually happened. I had questions because, again, this behavior doesn’t align with how my dog normally acts. The energy and attitudes I felt when I walked in were uncomfortable and unsettling, and I’m sure my dog felt it too. I truly regret leaving her there in the first place.
This was my second time visiting that location, and both experiences were terrible. The first time, I was just inquiring about services and was treated rudely then too. Even if my dog were somehow allowed back, I would never return to that location. They even suggested sedation, which I know is completely unnecessary and honestly felt like a lazy excuse.
I don’t recommend this grooming location at all. Unprofessional, rude, and untrustworthy.

I had a terrible experience taking my dog to get groomed. The staff was very unprofessional, and I felt very uncomfortable at this establishment. Do not take your pets here.

Horrible customer service. I have been coming here sporadically for 2+ years now, AND they are mostly always rude. Whether you are picking online orders or shopping in store. items marked on sale or priced wrongly. This place and the people...so sad.

This store has the friendliest staff and they’re so helpful. I always go to this store and it’s always been so clean inside compared to other pet stores.
