I just wanted to say that the service I received was great. My insurance contacted them. I expected to have to wait, but the driver showed up quick. He was courteous and polite. I would ask for them again if I am in that area.Service: Car towing

From the high to the low reviews it seems to be the nature of this business. We for one appreciate what both Que and John did for us. While driving back from vacation we had car trouble and were in the midst of the long wait for roadside service - from AAA - when Que turned into where we were stranded just to get gas and I mistook him for the AAA driver. He offered to see if he could help and he got us started, followed us up I-75 into the south side of Atlanta and got us safely to the hotel we had to book. Did not charge us a dime. His brother John ordered the part we needed on a Sunday night, and came to our hotel to install it before 8 am the next morning. It took a while to install, but he’s doing it in a hotel parking lot and having to run to the parts store for things. I have no way of knowing what it would’ve cost it we’d gotten it home and been able to do it other than in a crisis situation, but it was almost certainly less than what a dealer would have charged (and they likely wouldn’t have gotten it done same day with no appointment) , it avoided a tow charge, and allowed us to stay safely at our hotel instead of Ubering or renting a car. And the AAA sent driver actually never showed - called after we’d made it 15 miles up the interstate and had checked into the hotel to see if we still needed help. So we are thankful Que and John were able to help us.

SCAMMER ALERT!!!!! My car had front damage due to a fender-bender & this man, John Garland, approached me as a "mechanic." Instead of waiting for me to contact him, he kept contacting my phone and finally I decided to meet up with him. While I was getting an estimate from my dealership, he proceeded (on his own, without my authorization) to order parts and gave me a total of $1900, without labor. After I received my estimate from my dealership, I decided to work with him to get a better deal & had to leave my car because I cannot drive with an exposed hood in the rain (which was raining all week). He proceeds to tell me that he wants $4800 total for everything. That's nearly an extra $3000 for labor, seriously?! Who's that stupid. He's a complete LIAR. When my insurance originally asked for his body shop on the day I got both estimates, he tells them the shop is called "Garland Automotive (Repair)." My insurance gave their pocket estimate of $2000 & would need an invoice billed to them so they could work with the shop DIRECTLY to handle extra payment, basically, I wouldn't have to worry about anything. When I told John this, he blew up my phone stating that "they couldn't do that" & "when were they sending the rest of the money?" I was completely shocked by his tone & that fact that he could even TRY to dictate what MY insurance would do. He kept telling me that my insurance would send me the check & I would pay him directly. He lied to me stating that my insurance called and would send an adjuster out to him to review the further damages. My insurance immediately called me and asked to confirm if my car was with "ELITE AUTOMAXX," I was completely speechless & asked them to repeat themselves. When they repeated, "Elite AutoMaxx", I knew right there I had to get myself out of this situation. I researched "Elite AutoMaxx", & to no surprises - there are two addresses: 305 1st St (which is the one John gave me & my insurance) & another: 5246 Jones Rd. Both in Forest Park. Keep in mind, that's not the original NAME of the shop he gave. MULTIPLE occasions, I've asked for proper documentation & this man had the audacity to tell me he's been doing this for 12 years & not everything needs paperwork, it can be a verbal agreement. When I demanded paperwork for me to "authorize him to work on my car", which I knew I wasn't going to let him work on it anyways, he told me to "stop texting & calling him." At this point, I am livid. This man talks straight out his a**** As a client, I have made it perfectly clear my intentions & wishes, have requested for paperwork, and to reassemble my car hood MULTIPLE TIMES & he tells me each time "what's the problem" or "I have this under control." When I went down to get my car with my boyfriend, he never addressed us properly- completely ignored me & started talking to my boyfriend about the "work he needs on his car." I asked for my keys, he says it was in the car but it was no where to be found. I asked multiple times & he refused to give it to me & stated if he needed to lock me & my boyfriend IN HIS YARD until we come to a resolution. I immediately called for a mediator & thank God he came within 5 mins. We were able to get my car out of there without any trouble on a Saturday. I blocked this man from my phone but forgot my Mac is connected. This man continues to contact me on Monday begging me to call him, I asked "for what," & he's saying an adjuster from my insurance is there & wants me to change my mind. I laughed at him & he still begged me to call. If business was so good like he's been saying for the past "12 years", he wouldn't still be trying to contact me for any reason! This is absolutely sad & I pray no one ever comes in contact with this business again!

I originally called for a tow truck at 10:30am. When I was informed a tow truck was enroute I was given an eta of 12:30pm which then turned to 2:15pm. The tow truck driver did not reach my car until 4:30pm. Because I was not with my car (thank god because I would have been waiting in the rain for 6 hours) I tried to contact the driver to give the auto shop my car was located at an eta. The driver was extremely rude and acted as if he could not give me any information. At one point he told me he didn’t need to speak to me and not to contact him. Mind you, he was in possession of MY VEHICLE. I was also told 3 different amounts of what the tow would cost me out of pocket that ended up being more than double the cost of the original quote I was given. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a tow company, and would never agree to spending my money with this company again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Horrible service! The worst service I’ve ever received in my life. I have AT&T roadside assistance and this a vendor of theirs. They quoted me an estimated wait time of an hour. I waited 4. When the tow truck arrived the driver was irate and told me that I was impatient. The truck is also old and does not look reliable. Save yourself the hassle and headache. Go with any company besides this one. I’d rather push my car down the highway then to have my car towed by this company again.

Haaaa! Let me go ahead and tell you guys about this company ! They will lie to you about their rates make you wait 2-3 hours to then call you back and give you a different late. About a $117 + different . Oh and on top of that they will send the wrong truck to the wasted more of you time attempting to tow you to them give you the call of the price increase that was not originally discussed. DO NOT USE THERE PEOPLE ! They are liars !..... on top of that their customer service sucks , because even after the miscommunication the owner doesn’t know how to fix it. Let’s also be clear , I wasn’t even using a road side provider . So if you do make sure they done dispatch these people out.

They were dispatched out to me through my roadside assistance. I don't know who the female is who is conducting the phone calls but her customer service is not good at all. She was very rude and not helpfully at all. When she answers the phone she sounds very dismissive and unprofessional. I called to get a ETA for the where abouts of the driver and was given a 45 min window. Called again after 45 mins had passed and still another 45 mins. There are way better places to call to receive help with better customer service.

WORST EVER!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Called my phone company for roadside assistance to get my car towed to a shop at 8:00 am. They dispatched a drive out and said it would be 90 mins to get to me. Ok cool, waited and realized more than 90 mins had past and decided to call the company directly. The guy told me that a driver was in route and he would have him call me ASAP. Never got a call nor did anyone ever show up and after another two hours I was still sitting there waiting to get my car towed. At that point I called my phone company's roadside assistance line to let them know I was still sitting here waiting to be towed. She called the towing company directly and he told her that my tow request had been canceled by the company but then switched it up and said he talked to a lady and she canceled the tow. At this point I was pissed and couldn't believe he had lied on me like that. After I got off the phone with my phone company, I called the towing company back and of course he never answered the phone. So then I had to call my phone company again to dispatch another towing company out. This was by far the worst experience ever.

I am NOT in Good Hands with Alstate “ if they continue to use these guys. Alstate quoted me $43 and when they called back the price some how jumped to $175 ... I’m considering another insurance company. We spend too much money to be subjected to sub par service. Alstate if you are reading my review, fix this or I’ll find me another company for my insurance needs .

Do not use this towing service. After utilizing my roadside assistance service the tow truck driver proceeded to tell me I was supposed to provide the tools to change my own tire. After I explained to him that was not true, he began to change my tire using what tools were provided in my car's spare tire cabin. After he completed the service he then explained to me I owed him $5.00. I called roadside assistance and they handled the back end charge discussion. Don't use this service.
