I was having issues with my computer a couple of months ago and took it to Best Buy because I have their protection plan. Long story short, they fixed the initial issue while creating another one and their online thing didn't help. Frustrated with them, I took my computer to Affordable Computers (which also happens to be closer) and Josh (I think? He gave me a card so I hope that's his name! Sorry if it isn't.) was able to figure out my issue and get me out the door in fifteen minutes. (It was a simple fix but one I didn't know how to do myself.) A few months later and it is still running great! Thank you!

Had to get my old hard drive replaced with a new SSD drive. Kyle did a great job - gave me an accurate estimate and had my computer fixed in a timely manner. And it runs better than ever! Thanks, Kyle, for great work and great service!

My mother brought her computer in, they said it was dead so she bought another computer on their advice, she brought the "dead" one to another place and it turned out to be just hibernating, so she goes back here to give it back and they charged her a high price just to take it back.
When trying to explain and give the new one back, the man talking to her was yelling, intimidating, cutting off, and being outright rude while yelling at my mother, "YOUR BEING RUDE!!!" all while trying to intimidate my mother and cutting her off and yelling.
I don't mean just a slightly raised voice I mean yelling, yelling at my mother and intimidating and accusing and cutting off and charging her for their mistake.
Never come here for computer repairs.

I have been in couple time for troubleshooting, other times to upgrade parts, and without a doubt Josh will be the guy to make sure you have everything you need. Great service Josh hooked me up with trouble shooting a power issue. Had it resolved within 10 minutes of being in the store and had new parts installed. Josh you have my business!!!

I took in my computer and they told me my motherboard was fried and there was no way to salvage anything, so I bought a computer from them. I took my dead computer to my local computer store, and they told me it had run out of battery power and was in "hibernation". Took the new computer back to Affordable and had to pay a 20% restocking fee, even though the whole transaction took place because of their bad advice. I paid $70.00 for bad advice and they get away with that.

Nice assortment of products.Unfortunately, if you don't know any better, they will try to upsell you on individual parts. (At least this was my experience.) I recommend doing some research and knowing what you need if you choose to purchase parts here.I'm a hobbyist who builds pcs and converts older hardware into Homelab and IOT devices. Today, I decided I wanted to upgrade a stock cooler on one of my virtualization machines. This machine is a Mini-ITX build, housed in a Cooler Master NR200 case. I figured, "Why not try a local business rather than ordering something off of Amazon?"After walking in today, I met Josh Abbott, and explained what I needed. He recommended a small tower cooler that would indeed suit my needs. However, I noticed there was another, larger, and less expensive cooler available. When asking him if it could fit my build's dimensions (my case allows for a cooler tower up to 155mm) he said "I have no idea." He then went on to explain how "huge" the cooler in question is. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he believed it would not fit my case. After a little more back and forth, he relented, pulled the cooler out from behind the counter and said, "Here, you can look at it if you want." Turns out it was a 150mm tower cooler with one 120mm fan. This more than satisfied my build's cooler dimension restrictions.I don't know why it was so difficult to just check some dimensions, but I'm glad I walked out with the cheaper cooler. Popped it right into my build and everything is running smoothly.

These guys are super fantastic; I have a few different gaming laptops and desktops and they've been an absolute pleasure to work with. I was hesitant to use them when I first moved here, thinking that their fees would be pretty high, but they're extremely reasonable and quite frankly cheaper than the other folks I've taken my stuff to here in Chattanooga. They were able to quickly fix a recurring issue that I had hired a guy to fix twice. The group of guys there are super knowledgeable and great to work with. I won't be taking my computers anywhere else now that I've found them!

I stopped by yesterday to have a terabyte installed. As usual, awesome fast service. I like how they don't just work on your computer, they take time to explain what they are doing so you understand. Also keep in mind that I purchased this same computer many years ago from them for gaming and it still runs very good. I will always use them.

I needed a workstation with some top end horsepower "right now," and Affordable Computers delivered.I'd been aware of Affordable for years and had been a previous customer of refurbished and a couple of regular grade new machines over the years.Today I needed a new workstation for my office with excellent specs and Affordable Computers delivered - within a couple of hours at an excellent price.As someone who has worked in IT all my adult life, I stopped building my own machines years ago and don't keep up day-to-day with such mundane data as which new Intel or AMD processor is leading for any particular purpose.I found Affordable Computers' institutional knowledge of the industry to be highly reliable, their build quality excellent, customer service as good as it gets and their pricing absolutely in line with what I expected.Even better, they had what I needed in stock as new inventory. They also have an outstanding range of pre-owned machines ready to go in every budget range. Any student could be outfitted with a reliable computing option for a few hundred dollars, for example. I needed a blazing fast machine for Adobe Creative Suite and they provided it quickly.This was a perfect buying experience from a company which knows its business, is devoted to the customer and competes very favorably against every major retailer.Well, well done.

Spilled a ramen cup all over my laptop and caused it to lose connection to it's hard drive. Within a couple days they not only got my laptop working like it had before but running better than before. Definitely recommend.
