“Rented a drum sander and an edge sander for my floors and most everything went very well. The reason for the 4 stars was the total costs of deposits and sand paper came up to $500+. They refund a good amount of it but the website should be even more clear of all the added costs and not tuck in the info in the small print. Also the bag had a hole and when I turned it on, it shot saw dust in my face and made a dusty mess of the house. The store was too far for me to return it for the amount of time I had to do the project.”

“We had a washer that was a year and a half old that went out. We contacted the manufacturer who told us that it would be about $400.00 for them to come out and look at it. We were not satisfied with the washer since we bought it. So, we went to 2-A Appliance to see about a new washer. Lamar greeted us rather quickly, we explained our situation to him and he pointed out a washer to us. He covered all the options with the washer, the price and we bought it.
We could not be happier with the washer as well as the explanation and delivery. Lamar did great and we’ll go back in the future. No more big box stores for us. Thanks again Lamar!”
“I wanted to take a moment to thank an employee in your paint department named Ed. I needed help with a ceiling stain. I initially bought paint without assistance, and that paint was ineffective after multiple applications.
I took a picture of the stain and brought it in. An attendant in the paint department explained how wrong I had been in my efforts and how sanding, priming, and repainting my textured ceiling would be my only way back.
Ed overheard the exchange and interrupted, inviting me to follow him to the paint stock. He showed me a different paint that would fix the issue.
He was right, and the ceiling now looks great. A life-saving intervention that was greatly appreciated. Thank you again, Ed!”
