“This was a hidden gem that we stumbled upon. Employees were very helpful. Great walk along a groomed trail that took us to the nursery with plants native to the area. Some information about animals in the area, many trees identified and just a long gentle walk through nature. If you have an hour or two, it is a great place to do a nature walk.”
“Lula Lake Land Trust is one of North Georgia’s most breathtaking hidden gems, known for its stunning 110-foot waterfall—one of the most beautiful in the state.
The hike winds through peaceful forest trails, a serene lake, and opens up to incredible mountain views that feel untouched and calming. The waterfall at the end is powerful, scenic, and completely unforgettable.
They’re only open on select “open gate days,” so planning ahead is key—book ahead before going:
* First and last weekend of each month (May–November)
* First and last Saturday of each month (December–April)
* Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no late entry after ~1–2 PM depending on season)

“I was Blessed to take a tour of the 'Ladies of Charity thrift store' today. These wonderful ladies were working throughout the back room & upfront retail. Everyone had various stations and were very efficient. It was an inspiration to witness dedicated Christians at work for Jesus. Priscilla from St Stephens who volunteers in many organizations is a treasure in helping others as these ladies were in this worthy cause to help the homeless and seniors in need. My child Hates to sit still and at a desk no issues because Casey will get down to their level and work with them on the floor or standing. And just has the absolute most patience I've ever seen. “The Chattanooga free store is so an I love what the so you don't need any id or have to give them any ? information just you first name to sign in and when the call your number you go in and the give you 2 or 3 grocery store bags and a little card if you need baby diapers or wipes or cleaning stuff you mark everything you need on the card and they will give you what they have available that you need and also they have female products for thei monthly cycles and also condoms and you get to walk through the store put what ever you find you can use in your bags and other items as well baby and children clothes and men women clothes and they give you 15 minutes to shop and you get every for free”

“It a small stores they have good stuff sometimes I find stuff sometimes I don't I wish they still had the rewards the only thing I don't like is one of lady that work there always on floor cussing cause she have go pick up clothes off floor and straighten up you work at retail store”
