Talked to a rude lady on the phone. Trying to pay my phone off. Said my phone was financed through a third party and couldn’t help me pay my phone off and couldn’t help me navigate my app but called another store and they were able to help me and my phone wasn’t purchased through a “third party” never even heard of that and they helped me find it through the app. Exactly why I’m switching. They never know what they’re talking about and the service is terrible.

Some of the women working here are absolutely horrible. Rude and unhelpful. Every time I come here, I remember why I hate it.

Purchased a phone on 05/08. On 05/10 realized my dexcom medical device app was not compatible. I called Metro on 05/12 and they said I could return the phone within 14 days with receipt and in original condition. On 05/18 I took it back to the store. From the start, Josh did not want to exchange the phone for one that my device could sync with. I explained to him the issue and that I only wanted to exchange it for another one that would work, a Samsung. I told him I already spoke with Metro. He told him during our conversation: 1) maybe they did not explain the return policy, 2) he could not even read the small print on the receipt and underlined the wrong item he thought was the return, 3) they are independent of Metro and Metro could not tell him what to do, 4) I could only exchange if it was a new line and not an upgrade. So, I asked him to cancel my service. He told me he could not do that. I called Metro back. They apologized but said they could not resolve the issue, only the store I purchased from could and it is up to the store wholly. I called 2 other Metro stores and asked them anonymously if I could exchange the phone I purchased for another, a more expensive one mind you, and they said yes. I decided to contact the BBB. When I called the store back to simply ask for the manager's name, guess who it is? Correct, Josh. And he refused to give his last name saying it was his right to not disclose that. I am not sure about that with a public business but I will investigate it as well. I also checked the return laws with GA and a business does not have to give any resolution but are encouraged to post the policy. The policy for an upgrade is NOT posted in appropriate letter with the policy for a new line. In fact, there is no distinction between the 2 until you look way at the bottom. I literally just paid 396.54 for a phone that is not useful, is not unlocked for 180 days of service, and is no different that the phone given to new customers. I have been a customer for at least 10 years but am no longer. I can see why they would want to hold onto the money so much more than the customer but it is insane that because of my name (upgrade vs. new) I am not entitled to the same refund even though the phone is the same. The moral here is: DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION!

Just called and the lady that answered was so rude. I was asking about an upgrade that I saw in an email. And she told me that they didn't do that at her store. She had such an attitude.

Just bought a Motorola power G 2022 in July. Wifi doesn't work unless I'm parked somewhere. Never had problems with my LG phone. Took it by the store to find out the problem. They were not helpful.

Went to get a new phone and service for my teenager and they were great. I loved that they explained everything to him as well as me because he is learning responsibility so it was a good adult transaction for him

Worse customer service you could ever receive. We were told if we added a line w a new phone we could switch a line to new phone after 30 days. This is not true. Customers will add the line and after 30 days they say tough luck. Kiera the manager was rude and should not be in a management position.

I've been with Metro PCS for years and had no major problems until now - since the plandemic their 'customer service' has gone down the toilet. Perhaps they can't find good people since then, but there's no excuse for the incompetent and unprofessional staff they now have - who is hiring these morons? A few months ago I purchased an unlocked Moto G Stylus through eBay; it has the storage capacity I need, and I wanted a phone without all the bloatware that Metro adds to theirs - not to metion it was much cheaper! I went to this Metro store to have it activated, and was told they couldn't guarantee it would work on their network. They suggested I buy an SD card to expand my storage if I didn't want to buy the phone through them, so I did and returned the eBay phone. It was working fine until recently - suddenly apps are greyed out, I can't take or send pictures, and in settings it says the SD card is corrupted. I returned to this store on Battlefield Parkway, which is where I first purchased the phone I've been using, and the woman at the counter looked at the phone and said, "Oh, the SD card is corrupted." Hey, tell me something I don't know! I asked her what caused that, and her response was priceless: "I don't know anything about SD cards." She turned to her co-worker and asked him, and he said he didn't know anything about them either. I pressed on (even though I suspected it was futile to do so) and pointed out that some of the app icons were greyed out and couldn't be used and asked if she knew what caused that; she actually told me that "you can't put apps on SD cards." Seriously? I'D BEEN USING APPS ON THE CARD FOR MONTHS! I asked about another employee who worked there and who was reasonably knowledgable, thinking I'd come back when he was in, and was told he's no longer with the company. I guess the good people go elsewhere! OK, so much for the phone...I asked her how to send messages on the tablet I had gotten from them. She said, "Oh, you can't send messages on the tablet, they're just for customer service messages." Once again - WRONG! I looked on the internet when I got home, and there is indeed a way to do it. And these losers are the face of Metro? (Not to mention, the fact that the woman's arm/hand was tattooed with bones so they looked like a skelton was not only unprofessional, it was rather disconcerting.) She told me to drive over to the Rossville store because someone there might know what to do. I did indeed drive...to another cell phone company! The young lady I spoke to there was nicely dressed, polite, knowledgable, and articulate, and I got the phone I wanted. I've switched carriers, and am done with Metro. Given the abysmal treatment I received and utter lack of training and unprofessionalism of Metro's employees, I suspect it won't be long before this company is out of business or absorbed by another carrier. STAY AWAY!

Current customer and I regret switching. My husband and I both have had nothing but problems. I have to restart my network settings WAY too much, since day 1, and my husband has had SIM card issues. He can't even use his and hasn't been able to. It's ridiculous. We are only 1 month in at this point.. We go to the store in hopes of getting our phones fixed, but my husband would have had to pay reconnecting fee or something like that, and chick literally did what I've been doing on my phone. Reset settings. . We also felt we were an inconvenience. Literally there was "nothing" they could do, unless we pay MORE money, and sent us out. Now a little over 2 month's in and we are switching asap. Our ONLY communication is What'sApp and WiFi.Not only are we paying for usless phones, but also no customer service.
