AWT did an excellence job at my parents (Ezell's) house. The various work crews that came to help with construction in their house after the
fire were great. Craig, Robert the electrician, the owner and his son, the sheet rock guy and the plumber all did an amazing job. The entire company were very helpful and professional during a very difficult time.

Above and Beyond
AWT recently refurbished my deck and the experience was above and beyond what I expected. Starting with a quick estimate at a great price. They were professional and courteous, thier work was the highest quality, and the team was awesome. I highly recommend AWT to anyone needing construction, home improvement or renovation/repair services.

I recently had AWT Construction to repair an elevator at my home. The elevator is for us to get our disabled granddaughter up to and down from the 2nd floor of our two story home. The elevator would not work because the safety gate on the 2nd floor would not latch securely. The elevator company that installed it couldn’t fix the problem. We called AWT Construction. The owner/manager promptly came out to assess the problem. He then left and had one of his employees come to our home within an hour. He worked diligently to fix the problem and out elevator works great! I would recommend AWT Construction for any job, large or small.

They will rob you blind if you don't do your research. Inflated pricing on almost everything stage of building. Ordering more material than needed to use on other jobs, beware! Quite a shame they will rob disabled veterans in this manner and pretend they don't know what is going on when you catch it. My brother is a home builder so he helps me catch things that are off. I really would have been better off building it myself after being swindled like I have. Avoid their services if possible. I'm really thinking about taking legal action! This is the worst possible experience I had with a construction company. Their only job was to install guttering, however, the water still runs behind the gutter just as if one isn't even there. Looking at my house from the front the gutter is uneven and has places where it holds water. There is only 2 downspouts, one on each end. Their response has been nothing short of disgusting. Promises not kept and many more lies. I wouldn't let them touch another project of mine nor would I recommend their services.

After waiting over 20yrs I was finally getting my screen porch!! I talked & set up an apt with sales rep from AWT in Jan of 2020. I sent him pics in Feb verifying with him what I was going to get minus the cinder blocks under it that are in the picture. It was suppose to be a 16x23 screen porch with 2-3 steps down from the back door to allow for 2 ceiling fans & they were to repair any damage they found under the back door. We went with the best roof because of the size of the porch & the ceiling fans. My husband had taken our deck down to save money & time. There were so many problems: the guy who was working on the damage under back door & floor just didn’t show up several days. I was really sick the month of March with one of the 1st undiagnosed cases of Covid in our areas. So my husband would take off work & they didn’t show up or call. They put the floor down while we were gone, I called asking why it wasn’t as low as it was suppose to be & was told they weren’t finished & it’d be fine. I’d still get my ceiling fans. Then they told my husband that the porch couldn’t be as long as it was suppose to be because that size roof would leak. To avoid that he agreed to making it smaller. But then they took the roof was out 10-12 ft past the point of where the porch was going which made no sense. Between me being sick and David working, I couldn’t get anyone to explain to me why but they were willing to make the roof shorter but not the porch the size it was suppose to be. When the roof was put up I asked about the ceiling fans & was told they weren’t told they were suppose to put ceiling fans up there & that it wasn’t high enough for the fans! The roof started leaking from the beginning. Trying to get them on the phone or back out was no easy task. If we got them on the phone they’d say they’d be at our house the next day or a specific day & not only didn’t show up they didn’t bother to call. In May the roof had been “repaired” twice but was still leaking. They “finished” on May 29th while we were at a doctor’s apt out of town. I sent them pictures complaining that what they left was not what we agreed to or wanted. On June 4Th they came back & left after “fixing it again”. They were to replace the ramp they put in. I texted them that their guys had left after breaking a sprinkler pipe (which you can see in the pics) and they had broken the concrete leading from the porch to the pool. When they finally came back I was so upset, crying, unhappy with everything that they agreed for another $500 (because they were going to have to move the end wall & door) to make the porch the size we had wanted. Keep in mind the roof was about 10-12ft longer than the porch. After not showing up more times than I can count they finally finished my porch on June 19th. As you can tell they extended the porch but left me with a straight line instead of staggering the boards. It took until July 20th to get the concrete slab fixed & as you can see they didn’t even try to match it up to the other slabs. I tried for 10 months to get them back out here to get it the way it the way it was suppose to be but they wouldn’t take my calls & haven’t been back. I’ve cried so many times out there. Without the ceiling fans (even with 2 floor fans) it’s too hot to use. I asked them about this & was told it’s because the porch is in a “L shape part of the house” and it’s NOT going to get any air circulation. Even with carpet I still get big bugs including those big green grasshoppers! I waited for so long to get my screen porch, we gave AWT thousands of dollars & sadly I hate my unusable screen porch!! I wish I had just repaired the damage under the door & let my husband build another deck like he wanted. I feel so guilty about the money we spent & about my hating the porch, especially since my husband didn’t really want one. A few weeks ago they offered to add windows and AC for another $10k or to remove everything except for the roof & floor so we can get some air for $1,800. If yo

Spoke with terry multiple times about window replacement, called back chasing an estimate, two weeks later got the estimate. Call back to confirm work even though I was worried about quality of job completion time since it took two weeks to get a rough estimate. Was told it would be the following week as they were going on vacation, waited a week still no reply from them. Not here to bash a business just wonder why you couldn’t just say I’m busy or we are super booked. Don’t waste someone’s time.
