The Heard County Health Department is dedicated to protecting and improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities within our county by providing health care services, screenings, immunizations, and education for all ages. We also help prevent disease and injury through our WIC, chronic disease prevention, environmental health, emergency preparedness, and epidemiology programs. We are one of 12 county health departments in District 4 of the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Had a great experience yesterday with this health department! We live in Carroll county but our health department is out of the booster shots my grandson needs to return to school (((how does a health department run out of shots???))) Anyaay, it was totally worth the drive. Thank you ladies!!! Great job!!!

I was tested for covid19 several times before my vaccination. The folks at Heard county health dept were always friendly, ready to answer our question, prompt attention.Good place to go.
