😠Layaway Experience and Customer Service Feedback
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the customer service I received during a recent visit to pick up a layaway order.
On December 13th, I visited the store to collect my layaway items. Upon arrival, I observed a significantly long line of customers purchasing regular items. Given that my layaway transaction was straightforward—simply charging me and bagging the pre-selected merchandise—I approached several employees to inquire if a quick, expedited checkout was possible.
To my frustration, two employees were visible near the front, standing idle and engaged in conversation, making no effort to assist the queue. The response I received from the shift manager Maeisha was particularly disappointing. While I understand and respect store policies, she informed me that I must wait in the main line, delivering the policy in a very rude and unhelpful manner. Her approach demonstrated a complete lack of customer service consideration.
This experience has been so negative that I have decided I will never shop at this Burlington location again for any purpose, including layaway. I would rather make the drive to a different store where I anticipate receiving better treatment and more accommodating service

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a store so trashed…. Stuff all in the floor. Stood in the check out line for 30 minutes watching kids destroy wrapping paper in the front, just an absolute mess of a store! It seems from looking at the reviews the one cashier is the normal and that’s said to see so many complaints on something and still only one cashier.

This store is very poorly managed. Its dirty and unorganized and there are much better places to shop. Expect to wait 30 minutes to checkout because they will only have one register open no matter how many people are in line; the employees will literally just stand around ignoring the line and playing on their phones or chatting with each other.

Burlington normally has at least cute clothes but today I went and I found nothing for me and I also . Finally found grinch pj pants well their 10 dollars and I was so happy excited we'll I also got socks and another pair of grinch pants we'll the other pair of pants didint seem to have holes but the second pair has holes in the but of them the ankle but I haven't even ripped them I was wearing them took them off and when I was wearing them I noticed the hole and then after I got back to put them on I finally saw the hole in the but of them im am genuinely upset so I have sown them back to how they should have look but it just upset me that the person buying me them spent good money for good quality pants and yet they aren't good quality. I hope that if I go back I am getting good quality clothes .

I hate that I love this place. The items are typical things you'd find at TJ Maxx. The checkout line is always long. May bring a camping chair with me during the holidays!

Much better than the store in Athens but they had no toilet paper in either of the bathrooms, my friend said she couldn't find any either.

If you’re looking for blankets or anything the employees here are holding the merchandise(NOT PURCHASED) just holding when there are other customers trying to purchase that certain item.

This is one of the worse Burlington, first it seems like it is closing, the shelves are almost empty and the cashiers are dodging work, the line is full, and they are doing gobacks and 1 cashiers working the line, the manager is walking around making her keys sounds 😳 😀 her cashiers said if you don't want to wait, just leave, haha 😉 😜 I worked retail and let me tell you karma is a bit.... and you do live to regret those words 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 🤣 and worse in these days.

I would like appreciate Tara who helped a lot today . I forgot one my item in the buggy of the store . Next day I called store and Tara one store member helped me to look for the item and even checked the camera for me . She is the best . Thank you so much tara for helping even when I was not able visit the store

Super messed everything is mixed up, cashers dont now how to greet the customers. Around these dates gets very busy at stores but should be employees that can mantein in a better presentation.

Just came out of the store shaking my head. The store was a mess, things on the floor, merchandise broken on the shelves, no organization what so ever. 0 rating .
