I just bought my 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV from here. What a great group of friendly folks here. I haven't bought a car from a dealer in almost 7 years! Jairo "Jay" was a great salesperson to work with. George in the finance office was also amazing. I didn't feel like any of them pressured me into anything (which made me want to get extra care warranty!). Thanks for a good experience team.

I have a mixed review. Firstly, I LOVE my car. It’s exactly what I wanted and I feel it was priced fairly. Laura was excellent with the purchasing process and Chris was pretty cool, too.However, I’m kicking myself in the tail for buying the interior and exterior package. It does nothing. Absolutely nothing. Within four weeks of me purchasing the vehicle, I needed to replace a headlight and other repairs that were identified by an outside mechanic. Kia claimed they would reimburse me for the repair to my headlight, as the car was still under their warranty, it’s been 4 months and they have yet to reimburse me. I amnow paying for repairs to the vehicle they claimed to have fixed the last time I was there. It was a lie. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even look at the car, which was my suspicion all along.I spent weeks and hours trying to get things sorted with them and really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but now I feel I was hung on a string with empty promises. Everything was great whilst buying, as soon as there were issues, the tuned changed. I can’t trust the team there and I wouldn’t consider them for any future purchases.

We had a wonderful car buying experience here. Jairo (salesperson) was so patient, stayed focus on us, and answered all our questions. He wasn't pushy and offered to stay late if we wanted to make a deal. Chris (finance) worked hard to make a deal, arranged financing that would work within our budget, and made sure we understand every bit of the process. We came 30 minutes before closing not expecting to buy a car, but 3 hours later, we were driving away with a new one! Jairo and Chris made it happen! Thank you guys!

Me and my husband had the pleasure to buy a Kia Sorento last weekend. While we were there John Talavera helped us tremendously. We told him we had somewhere to be in a few hours and he made sure he got us out of there with plenty of time to spare. Everyone was so nice and helpful I would recommend for anyone to get into a Kia and to go to Jim shorkey to purchase it.

Worst customer service ever! The sales general manager Clevelin is extremely rude and disrespectful. Bought a car for my mother from Jacob in June and part of the deal was getting the all weather mats that were backed ordered at the time. Jacob was not in today, but said we could pick them up today from someone else. I explained the situation to the general manager, Clevilin, who said I needed a piece of paper (which no one ever said I needed) and when I asked why I would lie when his own employee, Jacob said it would be fine for me to pick it up whenever, he responded with “how do I know you’re not gonna come and ask me for $1000?” Considering I have been in communication with Jacob multiple times since my car purchase, I think it was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional to accuse me of lying when Jacob recognizes the deal and just wasn’t in. I am from out-of-state and only had a short time period to get this done.

I had an amazing experience buy my new car. Kip, did an amazing job helping me through the process. His explanations were perfect and easy to understand. 5/5 I could not have asked for better service. I would highly recommend you ask for kip whenever you come in.

We worked with Yeng and Laura to purchase our new vehicle and I cannot say enough about the great experience. We just moved from out of state and needed a second vehicle quickly. The pricing is competitive at this dealership and the team really makes sure you are taken care of. Yeng is extremely compassionate, caring, hard working and is deserving of a lot of future business. And Laura was very patient/accommodating throughout the entire process. I highly recommend!

JT from Sales was great and extremely helpful. We weren't really prepared to buy a car. After our accident and all the chaos. We knew we needed a bigger vehicle. We had in mind what we thought we wanted, but he showed us this Kia Sorento. We were sold. George from fiancial was awesome, too! Super great, friendly, and patient with our kids. Good experience. They did what they could to try to work with us.

Never will I ever buy a Kia much less from this dealership ! I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that I purchased brand new ! It had the engine replaced2 years ago at about 45K miles, this car now has 75K miles and I took it last week to service as it emptied the oil completely. Apparently it was that the seal from somewhere in the engine was broken so this was replaced, easy fix ? Well no, because now it has started to leak oil again. You are always getting the run around from this place !! In the last 2 visits I did not get a rental car, nor have I received payment from where I had to get my car towed to the dealership ! Beyond unsatisfied and disappointed in this brand ! NEVER BUYING A KIA BRAND AGAIN !!

Tried to give them a second chance. First chance they tried to have me spend money as if my warranty didn’t cover the cost which I was well aware that it did. Second time, they denied me of a free car wash after I wanted to take my vehicle because they wouldn’t give me a direct answer on when a loaner would be available. They didn’t know how long it would take to fix my vehicle. I only went to this location because they are 1 of the few who provide loaners. They don’t return phone calls. They beat around the bush and want you to come out your pocket extra money but can’t even provide estimate wait times or direct reasoning for what they’re waiting on. Waited 4hrs for 2 recalls and indirect responses. No thank you. I was very nice and patient. I won’t be back.

I went in for a regular oil change and recall, when I got there I was told I needed to do the 30k mile service. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that I was needing that service because it is expensive. I decided to go ahead with it, but was not told how long it would be or offered to be taken anywhere. I waited over 2 hours for my car. I was never given any updates during the wait. The only time they came over to me was to tell me I needed 4 new tires, which I was obviously not doing that day. After waiting for a long time my boyfriend goes to check on the status of my car, the guy working said it was getting washed and coming out soon. About 45 minutes later my car was done. Communication with the customer is really important and would have been really helpful during this long wait. I reached out to Kia a couple days later to complain about the lack of communication about the service I was needing and during the service. The manager Alex called me, it was a nice conversation and he offered me a free oil change on them, which I thought was a nice thing to do. A few days later I get a survey from Kia about my service experience. I'm not going to sugar coat the survey and act like nothing happened because of the free oil change, so I explained my entire experience and left low ratings. Alex called me right after and said he would not honor the free oil change anymore because I left negative ratings. That's a joke. My review and answers won't change, the lack of communication and service still wasn't good, whether I'm given a free oil change or not. I won't be back to this Kia for service, go across the street to Napa Auto Fitness, they are amazing!

Chealsea and Mario were so great to work with. They were so quick to give us the info we needed. We flew from out of state to purchase our new vehicle at this dealership and so thankful we had them to help us through the process. Highly recommend working with Mario, he was very on top of the entire process for us and we were able to show up, complete the purchase, and drive off very happy! Brandon was helpful in finance too, got us the deal we wanted and made it super smooth. Great facility and we would definitely travel to purchase from them again, totally worth it! We love our new Kia!!

My wife and I had a great experience this past weekend at Jim shorkey Kia of Gainesville. The salesperson, Malia and the general manager Kacey were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us in purchasing our Kia Sorento hybrid. Our kids love the rear seat entertainment where they can draw pictures. We did not realize that the car did not come with floor mats, but they made it right and sent us new floor mats right away! They also gave us great money on our trade-in. Great experience! Great people.

Best car buying experience ever! We called ahead to make sure they had the car I was interested in, & when we arrived John immediately greeted us and helped us get set up for a test drive. Once we drove the car, we purchased, & were out of there in 3 hours! Very nice experience, John was so awesome and helpful! We had so much fun chatting with him whilst waiting for finance/detailing.
