This is not a repair shop. It is actually a place where you pay $75 to have your tv dispose. I wanted to get my old tv fixed. When I called or went by there to check on the status, he would say, "waiting on the part, the part came in but it's the wrong part, the new part came in but it was defective, I should have the new part by Monday.....". Save your gas and money and use your garbage disposal company. Once I really believed he was going to fix it when he said I am going to put the ticket right here(on the desk) and he will work on it first thing when he returns. Typically no one is in the shop but a sign is in the door letting you know they will return in 10 minutes. Once they see you on the camera the guy will always show up from next door or behind the shop to help/talk to you. Save your money, time, and gas and go to Goodwill or buy a new inexpensive television. Beware they will not under any circumstances admit to any of the true bad comments. If you decide to use this business please provide a review. It could help others from losing $$ or it may inspire the owner to make changes.

My TS50 transceiver stopped transmitting and was giving me a Morse warning. I spoke to Bill and sent him my rig. Bill quickly diagnosed the problem (two blown diodes), called me with the cost, it was repaired, and sent back to me...all within 3 weeks.I just tested it on 40 meters and it works perfectly. Bill, I will be sending you more equipment! Thanks again.Jeff Nagy W3AAB

Clairmont Skyland Radio and TV are terrific! I had issues with my Sony Bravia TV and went to Clairmont Skyland for further help. Bill was incredibly professional with taking a look with my TV. He gave me an estimate of 3 weeks to look at it, but then a week later he took a look at it. Then a few days later, I got a call from bill letting me know my TV was ready for pick up. Much faster turn around time than expected. Bill laid out all the information about what the issue was with my TV, laid out options for me , and what I might persue. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and straight with me throughout the whole thing. Cannot recommend Clairmont Skyland enough for their services!

These thieves will keep your TV!I took a TV to them for repair in 2020. Paid them the $75 diagnostic fee.Of course there was an issue getting a chip to fix it, not their fault.I have asked them several times in the last 18 months to put the TV back together so I can pick it up. Each time they tell me they will but never do.Replying to your response. If it were put back together and available to pick up, why would you not call me to let me know or even tell me that when i called you the second or third time? You only respond to me when i leave a bad review?

Very pleased with these guys. I have a 77" LG OLED TV (3 yrs old) that ceased to produce any sound and slowed significantly when streaming. I thought I would have to replace this expensive TV. They properly diagnosed a bad motherboard, located the part and had me back up in running in just over a week for a fraction of the replacement cost. TV is working great again!

After 3 months without any contact I CALLED THEM and was told no parts could be found until a week before I CALLED and they were "just about to contact me" to inform me it would be almost $300 to repair a single part. Dropped the tv off the week before Thanksgiving and received no contact until I chose to refuse service on Feb 18th.
