About Hall Area Transit

Hall Area Transit is a public transportation system that has served the City of Gainesville and Hall County since 1983. Its mission is to provide efficient, effective and affordable public transportation that will allow riders to access government offices, jobs, medical/dental offices, recreational facilities, retail shops, social service agencies and other important community sites.

    Its a popular service. So takes some time to get a ride. But you can't beat $2 anywhere in hall county. And $0.50 a mile after 5 miles. I miss Chris on my route. He's a supervisor now and I miss my buddy.

    At times, it can take a while to get a ride, but they are very affordable. The drivers are very kind and efficient you get to your destination very fast.
