Worst hospital you could ever go to!! Nurses depend on family members too much takes a while for them to get patients to the toilet I've even seen them not wipe them have called them but instead of coming they would be on their phones watching movies or all of them would be at the front desk talking and ignoring everything and don't get me started Their Neurologist they said nothing was wrong with my neck and when I moved to Ohio their doctors said I need neck surgery Cleveland clinic in Ohio beats them hands down

This is by far the worst hospital that anyone could go to. My husband was admitted 2 days ago for a horrendous car accident. He sat in the ER for 12 hours before finally admitting him. With really no answers. The first 24 hours he received a CT Scan, X-ray to make sure nothing was broken. Great nothing broken. Kept him overnight for observation. Moving on to yesterday he sat around all day, no new tests ran, no nothing just 3 meals and a bed to sleep. Today is now day 3 and nothing. Saying he may go home he may not. He has had to be on oxygen the past 2 days, but the second they try to take him off his o2 stats drop below 90. Well hello then there is something internal going on. But what do I know. So moving on the nurses are horrible. I’m currently out my of country for the Military and I call the hospital to get an update from the nurse on how he is doing because he has been out of it, and 27 hours later I’m still waiting for a phone call. The other patient in my husbands room was calling for the nurse for 30 mins before someone ever came to the room. The amount of money these nurses make, you would think they would do their dang job instead of sitting at the nurses station doing nothing. If he ever has to go back to the hospital he will not go to Gainesville.

Went there for an open interview. The process was very demeaning for me. Praying that the care you get is indeed better than the treatment I got from them for the open interviews.

Currently have a loved one in their Gainesville location and her care in the ICU was amazing. Since she’s moved to the floor, her oxygen needs have increased drastically, she has a pressure injury from not being repositioned for days, and she’s not getting to use the cpap machine any longer despite the fact that she uses one at home. I called to discuss my concerns with her care and the first time the unit transferred me to 911 and the 2nd time they hung on me. Do not bring your loved one here unless you’re ok with watching them slowly decline and not be checked on. I am appalled at the care that this hospital offers.Updated to add, I did reach out to the patient experience department right after posting my review. They took the details of my complaint, apologized and assured me that the supervisor of the unit would reach out. I asked the patient experience person how long that typically took and she stated, “well, Directors have a lot of meetings but it should be within the next 2 days.” No one ever reached out! My loved one passed in the hospital, in pain after acquiring a pressure injury under your care. She spent days on a unit that was not appropriate for the level of care that she required with her oxygen needs. After her passing, I returned home to the hospital where I work as a Nursing Director and shared my experience with our Admin and Directors in our morning safety huddle. I vowed to do better for our patients and their loved ones so no one ever has to go through what our family went through. Northeast Georgia needs to examine how they’re failing their patients and do better.

When I had my first son I was in labor for 72h. Over 24 of that was at this hospital. I didn’t get to eat because the night I started contracting I had no appetite, the next day I was nervous so no appetite, the next day I missed breakfast from lack of sleep and left late for work. At work my coworkers said “sweetie you’re in labor!” So I went to Longstreet where they confirmed I was and sent me to L&D. Still hadn’t eaten, tried to eat CFA and couldn’t. Was told to drink fluids, fine! After I delivered I was put in a closet of a room (this was also fine because I didn’t expect a 5 star hotel) and didn’t get a meal sent to me until supper the following day. When we asked the person in charge of meals why I wasn’t getting a menu she fussed me out and said it’s my responsibility to handle all of this (even though it’s literally in her job description) and my mom had enough and let her have it. I was seeing hallucinations because I was so weak from no meals. I had to learn from the lactation consultant how to nurse lying down because I couldn’t sit up. I couldn’t poop to leave because I hadn’t had food. (editing in) Also, as soon as I went to sleep they entered the room at 4 am to bathe my son, of all of the times that they could do it they waited until we’d all FINALLY gone to sleep and about 15 minutes in they came and opened the door and flipped on the lights, I hollered to turn them off, and the nurse and her aid said “BATH TIME!!!” Were not all on night shift sleep schedules, this wasn’t the move. It was a hot mess. Then they sent me a bill, and continue to 5 years later, but my insurance confirmed it’s been paid. Fast forward to January. My Grandmother in law was diagnosed with multiple kinds of cancers. The oncologist told her she had 6 months, more if she received treatment. The tumors and cancer cells emulsified but the oncologist scheduled her treatment 3 months out. Now it’s 3 months and one week since her diagnosis and he’s refusing to continue her treatment after one single dose because she’s in icu with staph and fluid in her lungs and needs a transfusion. At Emory, my grandmother who was over a decade older than Nana, received transfusions by her oncologist specifically for this reason so she could continue treatment. They gave up on Nana before they ever even started. When I tell you that this hospital has the most pathetic licensed doctors in the world, I mean it. I have heard of people having better treatment at the hospital in Habersham that’s 1/8 the size of this one. If you are having a baby, or have cancer, this is the worst hospital in North Georgia to consider. The staff is there for the money and the conversations they share with their colleagues. I will say this, the only doctor in the entire system that I would trust my life with is Keshma Saujani. She saw me as a teen and came in as I awaited a c section (I couldn’t deliver on my own) bevause she remembered me (which is amazing because she sees so many patients and it had been years since I switched for proximity to Baldwin) & at that moment my baby decided to come! Everything else in this hospital is a complete waste of money, time, and effort. I would rather take my chances with a medical emergency than to be taken here. That’s all, do better.

I was in the emergency room yesterday, the stuff was very very pleasant and the female who wheeled me out I think her name was Camille, very nice to me, I told her I have to use the restroom so her wheeled me to it and when I came out, she was gone. So another nurse wheel me out to my husband truck. For that being said, the stuff was very pleasant to me.

Currently a patient. Day 4. Was brought in by ambulance. ER Dr. wanted to send me home. Yet I couldn't stand or walk on my own. Waited over 24 hours for them to find me a room. Waited over 24 hrs for MRI.Still no answers. Not giving me my daily meds I normally take at home.Hospital not ADA standard. Can't take walker into bathroom. Toilets not ADA height. And there's Cruella Duville, the tech. She wanted to roll me over. I'm screaming in pain telling her I'll do it myself slowly. She's yanking the blanket and not listening to me. I yelled at her to step away from the bed and not to touch me. I slowly rolled myself over. Meanwhile, Mom is watching Creulla rolling her eyes at me stating that we could have been done by now if I had let her do it her way. Her way was going to tremendously increase my pain.I'm so over this place, I just want to go home.

Ridiculous that after getting surgery you can’t get your own room to recover in privately. Because you have to share a room with another patient a room that is supposed to be for ONE patient. Plus leaving you for hours in the hallway after surgery because there’s no rooms. Then you can’t even have your loved one spend the night with you because they expect you to sleep in a regular chair. I hope they are letting the insurance provider know when they are making a claim for a full payment.

I had a hysterectomy here and I highly recommend them for surgerical procedures. All the nurses and staffing care very much for your comfortability. I also really appreciated them going the extra mile to prevent infections. They were thorough through the entire the preparation process.Even when I was inside the OR they were kind and making me comfortable and lots of laughs before going under anesthesia.I highly recommend! ?

Worst experience I've seen at a hospital! I don't know where to even start it was so bad. First of all, the same nurse tried to give my daughter's father insulin 2 times when he is not even diabetic. Thankfully he was in the right state of mind when it happened and could stop her. Had it been a patient that was unconscious she could have killed them. Secondly we were lied to on several occasions when asked for assistance filling out for Medicaid and social security disability. The case manager over the rehabilitation department first told him there was no one at the hospital to help with those things. Then when I asked her about it she told me it's easier for us to do it on our own. The 3rd time we asked she finally sent someone in who apparently either don't know how SSA works or they just lied to us and told us he is over the asset limit and not eligible for social security benefits which is not correct. There is no asset limit for SSA benefits only SSI has an asset limit and he isn't eligible for SSI since he worked 20+ years. We also advised his case manager and all the Drs and nurses that he has no help at home to take care of him since I will be working 2 jobs now to support us. They were supposed to have set him up for in home physical therapy, occupational therapy, skilled nursing and a nurses aide but so far nothing but the nurse came. This was all supposed to have been started 1-2 days post discharge but so far only the nurse has made contact to sign paperwork to get started. Because of this he is not had a bath or anything since Sunday when he was discharged. They wouldn't even prescribe him a hospital bed or bedside potty when he clearly told them he had no access to a bathroom or bedroom due to them being on a second floor and he is an above the knee amputee. This is further stressing us both out because we can get no help from anyone even the hospital. This hospital really doesn't care about the patients well being at all. They are even going to kill patients since their nurses don't even check patients bracelets before trying to administer insulin to the wrong person (2 times)!

WORST HOSPITAL EVER! currently been waiting almost 6 hours. my daughter has been here before for dehydration, currently having the same issues and i have had a doctor come out in the hallway before you even enter the emergency waiting room. Currently still waiting on the doctor to come back to tell me what’s going on with my daughter. worst experience I have ever had, NEVER WILL I EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. And they still want you to pay for the poor treatment they think they give.

Had the most amazing Labor and Delivery experience here. All of the OB/Gyns, Midwives and Nurses were kind compassionate and listened to my every need. So happy with my care team!
