I placed an order on 3/12. It was finally delivered to Gainesville on 3/21 for me to pick up per the tracking details. However, the recorded bot said on 3/21 and 3/22 that they had my order and would email me when prep by them was completed. Never happened. The central office told me the same thing, even stating that an approximate pickup time would be early pm. Never happened. Then at the end of each day, I made it thru to this store and they confirmed for me that they had not received the product at all!!!! (They should run for political office!). I cancelled that order a few minutes ago, and will take my business elsewhere in the future.

I am in the home building business, and buy materials and supplies at Home Depot on a regular basis. I purchased 4 gift cards prior to Christmas for stocking stuffers for family members from the Home Depot store in Gainesville. All 4 gift cards turned out to be no good. When I tried to return or exchange the first gift card, I ended up wasting approximately an hour of my time to end up getting an in store credit, which can not be used to purchase a gift card. I ended up having to buy another gift card. The other 3 cards were brought back to me as well. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this store regarding trying to return products I have decided to not shop at this Home Depot anymore due to the hassle with trying to return defective products. I will be shopping at Lowes in Gainesville from now on. I suggest that everyone else do the same

COVID Depot as I have come to call this place. Watching employees with mask not covering their nose. Pulling the mask down to speak to people. Social distancing? Ask them anything and they assume that means step up to your face. Of course their are the signs about how not responsible they are if I get Covid, but they ARE responsible for the promises they make about masks, about social distancing, about their employee's consideration. I was there yesterday, parking lot packed. No clean up of carts. What they know to do: make money and I'm glad for that, but so does Costco and they are on top of all the precautions.

We bought a new washer and dryer a couple of weeks ago. Water is already pouring out the bottom of the washer. When I called customer service they transferred me to someone who gave the number for Maytag. I BOUGHT THE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. i want my washer replaced, not repaired. This IS NOT proper customer service. I am so angry! They should have come right out with a new washer!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THEY READ THEIR REVIEWS! Very Sexist!! I called asking for help about renting some machinery here and the guy I talk to I think his name was Mark he was very rude to me he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and he was laughing at me. It was so rude and I understand that I am a girl but I do you know what I'm talking about.! I know we're going through tough times right now but there's no need to be sexist and mean to your customers.

Bought an item online, it was defective, I returned it the next day to the Home Depot in Gainesville. I opted for a store credit at the time because I was sure I would be able to find the product on the shelf. Unfortunately they did not have the stock, a very nice young lady named Emily helped me with an online purchase but it would not allow the store credit to be used. David, the store manager was unwilling uncaring to help refund the store credit and either put it back on my credit card where it was originally purchased. I have spent literally $15,000 in the last eight months at Home Depot and this $62 purchase has left the worst taste in my mouth for this company and its customer service. All I can say is buyer beware

It shouldn't be so hard to be nice. We came in to get replacement guts for a toilet. An employee asked if we needed help right as we located what we needed and I said thanks we were just looking for toilet guts. He tried to tell us it was down the aisle a ways. As we are holding the package of the same exact guts we bought for a different toilet we said no, this is what we need. And he proceeded to ARGUE that we needed something else. That he's been in plumbing for 15 years and these aren't the guts we need. What?! I'm sorry, did you see what was wrong with my toilet? Did I miss you coming to my house to check it out?! Why on earth is this guy picking an argument with a customer over something so stupid?! Won't be back. Lowes does a much better job of customer service.

I ordered online for paneling and it said they had 40 in stock at the dawsonville store. They called and said they only had 18 but delivered 14 only and I had to wait for the rest of my order. Also, I needed 70 sheets but the online doesn't allow you to order what you need and tell you when the rest will be in stock. So, you have to reorder and pay the 79.00 shipping charge again because they don't have the amount you need at that time. They offered to give my half off on the nails which were only 2.50 a box but not on the part of the order I had an issue with. Online services said they couldn't help me even though I ordered through them and that I would have to call the store manager. They don't ship store to store for the free store pickup they offer either because each store is individual owned and managed. They store rep I talked did however do her best to help me and was polite and that was the only good thing about my experience.

Do not order appliances for delivery from here. What a nightmare! Their drivers were suppose to call ahead to let us know they were on there way. They never called. They arrived, no one was home (we were very close by) and so they just left. Then we were told that once they leave they will not come back so they tried to reschedule us for a week down the road. We took an entire day off work for this delivery. I canceled my order and will by elsewhere.

I rented a power washer today, and after getting it home I tried for 2-hours to get it to prime to no avail. I then returned the rental equipment to the store and met with the asst. store mgr. Melissa. She said all she could do for me is not charge me for the equipment -Which NEVER worked. She offered to give me another machine (its 7pm) I'm painting porches, which I explained that I couldn't paint in the dark & needed the machine starting late morning when the temperature was warm enough to paint. I ask if I could take the new machine tonight so I wouldn't have to make another 30 mile trip tomorrow. She said, Nope, that's all she could do. I said, you wasted my day today & now your going to chg me for a machine that HOPEFULLY works, but I have to make another round trip tomorrow? Shouldn't it be Home Depot's responsibility to make sure machines rented actually work? I wasted my day off from the police dept. for nothing more than running back & forth from this store. I understand that items rented may go out by accident, but shouldn't your store at the very least allow me to get a machine that works for tomorrow? You say you guarantee your products, how is that working for me? If an asst. mgr can't discuss and handle a situation like this perhaps your company should have a manager on duty who can make decisions. I was a very loyal customer -I literally bought a refrigerator from you 2-weeks ago, thank God it worked. A very unhappy customer.

Tyler in home and garden is amazing. I have purchased mulch on so many occasions and it seems to always be Tyler that has to load it up. He does it with a smile, exemplary customer service and speed. Team members like these are very hard to find and I hope that Home Depot knows his value.
