I can't even give this place a one star but there is no option for no stars. We rented the biggest truck and a trailer to be on the back. The owners wife hooked it up and when we got on the road it came off and almost killed people. The wires that work the tail lights were broke. We went to Lowe's and bought new one and fixed it. (Wasn't our doing that broke this). We paid thousands for the trucks because we had them for 23 days. When we returned them to the place. We pulled into the parking lot and it bottomed out and got stuck. We then asked the owner for help and he refused. He said he couldn't drive because he was legally blind and didn't have a license. I asked if he had a jack that we can use to take off the trailer because it was too heavy. He proceeded to tell us that he had no equipment for that. He gave us the keys to another U-Haul and told us to try to nudge ours with that to get it unstuck. We tried that from every angle we could but it did not work. It was 93° outside. We were at this for hours! The whole time he had an attitude with us. He told us that this happens in his parking lot all the time. So my question is if this happens all the time why does he not have the proper equipment to use at his own establishment. He did not care at all. Technically we were in his parking lot. I should have left it right there and handed him the keys. I had to spend $100 on a tow truck to get us pulled out from their own parking lot!!!! The owner's name is john. In my opinion he should not have the business renting vehicles if he can't even drive a vehicle. This business needs to be shut down. We have used U-Haul many times with no issues. But this one location unfortunately was a money pit for us.

That location is nasty and had several cats running around. I expressed that I was allergic and he replied “ that’s not my problem”. The location didn’t have the key in the box. The truck was dirty with cat hair everywhere inside. This was a terrible experience, I would never suggest renting from this location EVER.

The Great Classic was not helpful at all. Gentlemen that did the rental was rude and short tempered. The office was completely smoked out and had multiple cats walking around and sitting on the desk that I was signing the rental contract on. Gentlemen who did the rental could not help with the trailer set up at all. The trailer I was given had an expired tag (4/23 tag) on the license plate. When I notified the office of this since I was driving it over multiple state lines, I asked if they had the updated tag or a different trailer I could use so I did not have to worry about the possibility of getting pulled over. The guy who runs this location responded by saying, "That is the only trailer you can have. I can't help you with the tag. You won't get pulled over. You either take this trailer or you don't rent a trailer. Only two options." Poor customer service, poor location set up. My clothes still smell like cigarettes from being in there for the hour.Trailer itself was fine. Drove great and was easy to handle. Minus the expired tag, the equipment was good.

not sure if they were closed, the sign said open. it was extremely dark and junkie looking into the windows. the online portion barely worked and there was nobody at or inside the building which added to the frustration of the app not working properly. had to call u-haul and speak to 2 different people b4 and after returning the truck. not a good look 4 a business but i'm sure if there was an actual person around like b4 i moved to Georgia then things would have been better.

Tried to rent a trailer unsuccessfully. Spent over an hour there before giving up. The guy at the store was completely useless.

The gentleman was extremely helpful and patient when my phone would not work. I enjoyed talking with him. The truck was clean. Great service.

Horrendous experience. Every time, dating back to 1993, my experience with uhaul has been negative. I thought I'd give them another shot here in Gainesville. They will never get another from me. Pick up locations are located in parts of town where the tweakers hang out. What they provide is WAY to expensive. After all was said and done I would have paid another hundred bucks and gotten professional movers.

The man who rents these u halls are rascist and has no customer service.I would never spend my money there.to be so hateful and have a business just say u don’t want black people to use ur services.the worst customer service I have ever seen I don’t know how u have a business.They need to close this cigarette infested place down.
