“I have bought all 3 of my last cars from Swanns. A Chevy Cobalt, Chrysler and a Kia. They never put me in a lemon and if the owner or Duwan doesn’t think it’s a car for me they don’t sugarcoat it. My credit was pretty bad and the owner stayed on the phone and made something happen even after getting a few no’s. I’ve also sent 2 people to them and each of them drove off with a car too.I swear by SWANNS. My next car will be brand new but if not I would’ve been going right back to SWANNS.”

He was kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. Literally every time I try to rent somewhere other than Enterprise (which I’ve now been doing since 1998 because they were the only company willing to rent to an 18-year old) because there’s a deal, I’m reminded that it’s not worth it! “Just got back from our trip to Savannah, GA where we rented a car from Enterprise at the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented a "Luxury" car because it said it could accommodate 4-5 suitcases in the trunk. Nope. Just 2. That was a Volvo. Assistant offered us a Chevy Malibu, a downgrade for price, but we didn't care as long as it fit the suitcases. Still fit only 2 in the trunk, so we had to put carry-ons in the back seat. We actually liked the controls and dashboard better - not as fancy as the Volvo. Car had a lot of dents and minor damage, so she told us just to take photos. It was raining, and the car was wet all over, so we didn't know how that would work upon our return, but the return was a breeze. The guy said we were not charged for any damage, and that they considered it "normal wear and tear". After reading negative reviews about people waiting hours at the Savannah airport car rental places, we were pleasantly surprised at the ease of pick up and return. No wait on either end. Very nice experience at Enterprise, and we would choose them again.”

This location was closer to my home. They were very helpful and put me into a beautiful RAV4 immediately. The car was very clean with no lingering smells. In fact, it still smelled brand new. “Savannah Dollar Car Rental was excellent - cars are available as you exit the airport. My car was clean and quite new. Only complaint is that it had a strong air freshener in it which required me keeping the windows open during any drive. There was no line at the Savannah counter which was also nice and no surprise fees when I returned the car, which was also a breeze. Highly recommend the Savannah Dollar car rental.”

“My husband needed transportation by stretcher to a doctor's appointment . We contacted Ike with Helping People 1st Non- Emergency Transportation. Service was excellent. They were gentle and caring. During the time they were at our house the nurse told us to go straight to ER as the doctor wanted him admitted to the hospital. Ike and his co-worker were fine with the change and got him to the ER. Thank you Mr. Ike for such great service. We will definitely use again.”

“You'll always have a problem where a person is involved, but never have I ever had a better public transportation experience. As a young woman in a new city, I was honestly scared about not just my general safety, but also about ending up in new and unintentional places. That being said, I can confidently say that LaShonda from the CAT building of off Oglethorpe saved me so much time and so much money. I'm just a small person in a big city, but if I could do anything with my time here, it would be getting her a promotion. Not only was she an excellent employee, she was the ONLY employee working on the floor. There are no words I could use to describe how much she helped me.”

“The customer service rep Jeanette was very helpful at Hertz on Abercorn Street yesterday April 25, 2023.She was able to extend my Hertz rental easily when another site could not.The car was rented from a larger Hertz site nearby but apparently they do not answer their phone, I was unable to contact them even though I tried for days.Jeanette was able to assist me without hesitation, in a very friendly manner, too!I will definately be renting from this Abercorn Street Hertz site in the future.Thanks, for your kindness and expertise Jeanette :)”

“Because of fog our flight into Savannah, Georgia airport was not until after midnight. Avis car rental was open until 1am, so we were able to get a rental. We also had 4 large suitcases so a Santa Fe size car fit the bill for 4 passengers. Great service.”

“Great service and a great car. Corolla Cross. It would be helpful if the attendant had given me a few pointers on the car though. I thought it was stalling at traffic lights all the time but apparently it has a 'shut off' built in to it when you hold the brake. It starts right back up when you release the brake. Duh, didn't know they made cars to do that. It's not all that helpful anyway, esp. in warm weather. It kicks on automatically to keep the AC working efficiently after about 30 seconds or so.”

“The review is for the car that I received.I made reservations and paid for it in advance about a week before I arrived to the Savannah Georgia location. The location is along the baggage claim area with the rest of the car rentals. There was no one in Payless but they referred me to budget. Budget was able to look up my car rental and even gave me an upgrade at no charge. I was really happy.The guy at the counter was super unfriendly and cold, but he was working on January 1 and everyone else was closed. My concern was that no one walked out to the car to look it over for dings and scratches. There were a few so I want to make sure I don't get charged for it. I videoed the car myself with a few friends that I was with to make sure that I had note of it. I returned the car two weeks later, and no issues at all. It was easy. I'm really surprised at all the one star reviews because that was not my experience. Had I read those prior. I probably would not have rented a car from them. They were the best price with unlimited mileage, and super easy since it's at the airport. You pick up your luggage at the baggage claim and walk just a couple of feet to the car rental. The cars are on site so you don't have to take a shuttle. The return was just as easy. Drove up to the car return drop the car off and walked into the airport.”

I scratched my hand when I was leaving the plane in a random accident, and she even was able to give me a bandage. The car was great too. I will definitely use Budget again in the future.”

“Wow, these negative reviews are crazy. I guess I got very lucky. Maybe I was treated better because I'm in the Hertz President's Circle, which has a separate line. I definitely could see the issue about the lack of vehicles. I reserved a cheap, compact car. They were out, so I was upgraded for free to a Jeep Wrangler. Not what I was expecting at all, but it was a fun vehicle. Minivans and trucks were the only other cars available. The workers were great, and even recommended some restaurants in Savannah when I asked them.”
