Hey this is travis Phillips and i like too say friendly gus is the best store in Gordon GA and i would go there any time and i wish people stop talking bad about the store and the people that work there because they are amazing people great to work with fun to be around and i love them and miss them so much wish i could come back very soon i got fired for protecting a person i work with and making sure everyone in the store good and stuff and i think i should have not gotten fired for that i guy was talking shit to another worker and i step in to see what was going on and he came behind the counter at me and i had to protect me and the people i work with so i pulled my gun out but i didn't point it at him i just grab it i am so sorry about everything and i wish I could change it but i wish I still had my job thanks and hope i can get my job back very soon and i hope it can be before Christmas happy holidays and happy new year and one last thing the food is great love it.And i think they would want someone like me working at they store to protect it and the workers in their

I absolutely love FG I’ve been going there since i was about ten years old and i just turned 31. I love all the people who work there Ms.Louse is like family she’s literally seen me grow up it’s truly a great family business and the food is wonderful my only complaint is they run out of chicken strips way to often and most of the time it’s a day or two before they get more

Hello. My name is Joanie ratcliff many know me under Joanie Hubbard .I been working for friendly gus off and on for 14 yrs . I recently have started running the store as lousie has partially retire. A lot is going on ,me getting use to dealing with everything myself . I wanted to say I appreciate all my customers and employees for have a little patience with me and the continued support . I'm looking forward to many wonderful years not only with the company but with my crew and customers in which have become my family ..thanks everyone ,hope to see everyone in the morning or whenever u can stop by. I’ve been going to this store since before it was Friendly Gus. I must have eaten breakfast there a thousand times, at least. Every employee that ever worked there knew me. After I retired I ate there less but I still bought gas and snacks 5 or 6 days out of the week.
Until a couple of days ago.
I went in there a couple of days ago thinking I’d eat a little breakfast. It was 9:00 AM. No eggs and cold grits. There was everything on their menu for lunch already out there. 9:00 AM. The old manager would have personally cooked some eggs for me at that time of day. All I got was a smart a$$ mouth. At 9:00 AM I could get spaghetti and meatballs but I couldn’t get a scrambled egg.
Complete and utter nonsense.
I won’t bother with gas, snacks or anything else. It’s not the only place in town.

An accidental press of the emergency stop button for the gas pumps originally caused some confusion but was swiftly fixed by the two employees there this evening. They were very kind and quick to jump to fixing the issue so I could fill up my car. I greatly appreciate their quick, efficient, and kind response--wonderful customer service. Another customer was also kind to help me out and chat with me. Also... boyfriend and I always greatly enjoy the food whenever we stop here.

I have been coming to this store for years and to say the least, I’ve worked there a long time ago and the people aren’t the same. One girl put the middle finger up at me because I didn’t want her to fix my food and we had words in front of the other customers. To this day she’s still there and still cursing customers. Today, I went back to order livers and cash my lottery tickets in and the cashier said I had less than what I supposed to be getting back and I asked him to give me my tickets and he started talking rudely to me saying oh you saying I’m lying when I’m trying to tell you what the machine is saying. But at the end he was wrong and finally gave me my tickets and said he was having a bad day. I’m going to only go there when I see the good employees there and their manager because when she’s not there, it’s a mess in the evening

This is some of the best cooked fried chicken I've ever eaten, but there's a lady employee that's loud and every other word is profanity. Great chicken and most employees so kind and friendly. I'll be driving up to see if that person is there, if so, no chicken that day. Horrible mouth to listen to.

All these guys do is win! The Starbucks refreshment machine always produces my favorite chilled coffee beverages. Whenever we are passing through town we make it a point to stop here to get our caffeine fix.

I have watched this place mature over the years. It use to be known locally as McNasties but present management has turned this around to be a very clean and respectable place. Employees are wonderful, kind and attentive to customers needs. Prices are still higher than normal for chicken fingers, very comparable in price to Zaxby's minus quality and selection but good if your hungry for fingers and tater logs. 3 stars are given for price alone, employees are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied, 5 stars all the way for the management and employees. I like the chicken livers and they are always willing to cook a fresh order if they are not backed up and you just kindly ask. I hear the daily lunch specials are also good however I can only speak for the fingers, livers and hot wings. Wonderful sweet tea as well, always fresh brewed.

The food is horrible and expensive. I guess you really can't expect much from a gas station, but I would hope for a little better than what they serve. They give you little bitty dried up chicken tenders and want to charge you an arm and a leg for them.
