So disappointed with the customer service in the pharmacy department. I’m a resident of Gray but worked in Macon. The Kroger pharmacy has always been convenient due to the proximity to my job. Recently retired I decided to try my local pharmacy… what a mistake !!!So I bring a prescription to be filled give the technician my prescription and coverage information.Come back the next day to get the medication- ( normally is 10.00 dollars or so with Kroger). The technician said that will be 39.00 dollars … I immediately ask if any discounts can be applied… she rudely said … NO, YOU DO THAT YOURSELF IF YOU WANT SOME DISCOUNT. I said Kroger would at least try to help with the prices… she replied this is not Kroger’s … with a nasty attitude. I asked for my prescription back …she said we don’t return them or transfer them…!!! The blatant rudeness and lack of communication left me completely confused. So, i walked away then immediately returned to the window where the pharmacist assisted me and gave me back my prescription. WALGREENS… this loyal customer will not grace your door steps again.Sincerely,Jones county resident for over a decade.!!

I would not have given a good review up until the new pharmacist Antonio came on staff. Very caring and thorough. It runs so much better now. Reminds me more of the hometown pharmacy that it should be. Thank you for caring.

I've held off doing this. This specific pharmacy, staff is rude including pharmacist. When they show up for work or refusing to answer phone calls. Running prescriptions as paid through insurance before prescriptions are ready. When they decide not to show up . You can't even have medication transferred to another walgreens because they already charged and insurance refused because it shows already got . I've went inside and seen they were empty no customers back there. I called to see if either of the 3 working would answer. They totally ignored the phone. No other pharmacy can reach them to get prescriptions transferred out of there . This store in Gray is by far the worst .

After my current issue is resolved I will never use pharmacy again. Do not ever ask for delivery. Corporate is involved hopefully they will help.

3 Prescriptions called in at 11:15 in Gray. Not ready at 1:15 told they were getting ready for lunch and to come back after 2:30. I was very sick so asked if it could be transferred to Milledgeville WalGreens so husband can get. She said yes to just call and let that store know to fill it. After holding for 15 minutes to inform the M’ville store was told insurance declined because Gray already processed them and for me to call Gray back to ask them to reverse their order. Ok. They close 1:30-2:00. So started calling at 2:10. Gray pharmacy never opened their phones back up so called store and ask to transfer to girl at drive thru that screwed me up getting prescriptions. She was rude started telling me what the other store should do. Well I’m not qualified to tell the Walgreens pharmacy clerk how to do her job. I told her that I see why they have a very poor rating for service. She did not care. I then called M’ville store back. After 10 minute hold was told orders may be ready by 6. They had to call about the antibiotic as Gray had caused a problem. I will go back to H&M Drugs from now on. Only tried Gray as I was coming from Macon to get drugs faster. What a joke on me! Lesson learned.

This Walgreens pharmacy is SLOW. Expect to wait at least 25 -.45 minutes for drive-thru pickup. They seem oblivious to how long they are making customers wait. It's been like this for several months no matter what time or day I visit. Poor Pharmacy Management!

The guy I think isn’t named Chris is great!!!! Really appreciate his help answer professionalism!!!! But to top everything and everyone else off that is terrible today they are temporarily closed bc someone called out. Like are you serious????? That makes no sense bc I know not just one person is running the whole pharmacy anyways. Besides him and the older lady they need A WHOLE NEW CREW. Jesus bless it

Pharmacy staff are not enthusiastic, nor going to go out of their way to help at all. The pharmacist is informative, if you need something, but the pharmacy techs are there just for a paycheck it seems. They do not have medication ready at the times they promised. (happened twice in one day)Rx dropped off at 9am and was told it would be ready by 11amAt 4:45 pm attempted to pick up Rx and Tamaya tech said “ain’t gots nothing for you” then said it could be ready by 5:45pmAttempted to pick RX up at 5:42 pm.Same said pharmacy tech continues to talk about others non-insurance status where others could here. The gentleman in front of me just needed his metformin. She proceeds to tell him well you ain’t got it filled since February not realizing doctors may write the prescription differently where The medication may last longer and it is more affordable for individuals without insurance. He may not have needed it refilled since February or he may not have had the money. When it is my turn to get to the window she proceeds to talk to to a male pharmacy tech, joking around not taking her job seriously and proceeds to tell me my medication is still not ready.If your child has a RX called in, they are hesitant to check the EMR faxes from the doctor and quick to tell you “aint got it” very disappointed in this Walgreens especially in a small town …

If you’re thinking about going here. Please don’t go. The pharmacy is terrible. You have to wait up to 20 minutes in the drive thru while the pharmacy techs talk and ignore you. When you have a question the techs make you feel crazy or stupid. I went this morning and the pharmacy tech gave me my medicine. I looked in the bag and one of my medications was missing. I asked about it and she said it was out of order. I’m not sure why she couldn’t have told me before I had to ask. She then proceeded to get an attitude when I asked where I could go and pick it up. Don’t go to Walgreens in Gray.

I have never had so much trouble getting a pharmacy to answer the phone! I called this morning to have a prescription transfered to Walgreens in gray and was put on hold for nearly 45 minutes only to have someone pick up and hang up on me! Then I proceeded to call back 3 more times only to have the same thing happen over and over! I have waited on hold for nearly 2 hours total and still have not spoken to anyone in the pharmacy!! So I'm giving up, but this is ridiculous! I know they're busy but good grief! I am so madand frustrated right now!
