“This school will always hold a huge chunk of my heart. I started working here in October 2017. Immediately, I bonded with our staff-we really have such a great group of teachers! Everyone is so welcoming! Right away I loved it. What I was not prepared for, was the amount of love and connection received from each of my student's families. I've watched generations of our infants grow up into graduating PreK and beyond. I've been there with their family every step of the way, and for everything in between. This is not just a job, or just a school. This building is full of FAMILY! The relationships formed here are unforgettable. We help support our families during all the big things in life-from grieving loss of loved ones, to welcoming new babies, and all the little moments in-between. If you need a mini 'successfully made it to the potty' dance? I've got you! A cheerleader at their first fall football game? I'm bringing my whole fam!! Your first tooth fell out!? “There are not enough stars in the world that I can give to this school. Grayson Academy has TRULY been a God-send. The people here are one of the very FEW people that I can trust with my child. My daughter was at a different school already [and had been for the past year and a half] when we toured this school. When I came, the person who gave us the tour was Ms. Syterra [who was so sweet, answered all of my bajillion questions, and gave me such peace]. I was very quickly impressed with what I saw, the level of organization, and what stood out the most was just how clean everything was [and I came in the middle of aftercare which is usually a very messy/chaotic time for most schools]. The menu options were very impressive! Food options listed were foods that I would eat myself, and they serve breakfast, lunch, and snack. I also love that they have cameras; definitely great for extra piece of mind [we only have one child so we’re very over-protective of her and all that goes on with her]! My daughter was in the Advanced Pre-K program which you had to be tested for. The advanced Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Della Dickerson has the heart of gold!!! That woman truly has a gift! She is such a blessing to all of the children and their parents and is such an asset to Grayson Academy. My daughter came into the school knowing only how to write her name and she left writing paragraphs. The curriculum in the advanced Pre-K class is unbelievable and with all that Mrs. Della instilled in our daughter, she was able to skip Kindergarten all together. And it’s not just academics, the children learned life lessons, how to properly conduct themselves, proper hygiene habits, interpersonal skills and so much more. The level of quality education far surpassed anything that I could have every fathomed. Imagine your 4/5-year-old reading complete books on their own, writing paragraphs, conducting science experiments, creating AND presenting their own class projects, doing math, telling time, spelling sight words, exploring nature, going on enriching field trips, and so much more [and at an affordable price, might I add]. Mrs. Della went above and beyond in every single aspect and it showed in every single one of the children. Never have I met a teacher so invested in the success of their students. We all became one big community, the children and the parents that supported Mrs. Della every step of the way helped to ensure that this was a COLLABORATIVE effort in ensuring our children’s achievement. This has been the best school year yet! Everyone here played a pivotal role in our child’s success.
Special shout outs to Ms. Jennifer for the lovely meals that she provided daily to the children, Mr. Melvin for always transporting the children safely to and from their field trips, Ms. Takisha, Ms. Farah, and Mrs. Marin for making aftercare such a delight for all of the children. Ms. Syterra for always being the smiling face at the front desk in the morning, Ms. Tashida for being the owner of this amazing facility, and last but certainly not least , to Mrs. Della Dickerson for being the absolute best teacher in the whole wide world and for being an outstanding role model to all of the students. I am PRIVILEGED to have been a parent of a Grayson Academy graduate [BLACK-owned AND veteran-owned, might I add], They have set the bar VERY high for our daughter’s next school.
P.S. if you’re thinking about summer camp here, I also HIGHLY recommend! You’re not going to find anywhere else that takes the children on as many field trips and does as much fun and enriching activities with them like Grayson Academy did ESPECIALLY at the price point that they’re charging [which was VERY reasonable]! My daughter loved every minute of it!
I pray that whoever reads this review finds this school to be as much of a blessing, if not more, than I did. I will definitely be by with my daughter again to visit and say “hi” to everyone. I hope to be back again for summer camp next year!”

“I know I’m a kid and I’m not supposed to write a reviews but I was at that daycare and it looks great in all but that was now fun for me. I know I was a little bad kid there but now I’m going up and going to sixth grade. I did not like it not one bit. I hate taking naps. I don’t just we need naps and I have respect for that, but I don’t have respect for is that one of my friends there some of y’all staffs told her to yell at me saying leave me alone and that hurt me and it made me confused They didn’t just discipline me. They made me feel pain at a little age. but I hope y’all are doing great on your job. I thank you for you helping me to grow up -Bryley gant”

“OMG! My daughter is in the infant room and Mrs. Kusumi and Mrs. Ashely are AMAZING. Two months ago I have removed my daughter from a 4.5 star daycare that has a waiting list. We had problems with improper care, unprofessional administrators, and overcrowded classes. I was skeptical to enroll her at Rosebud do to previous reviews, but am so glad I went with my instinct! From the very first day, we felt the love and my daughter is clean, dry, and well fed. The small class size allows for more personalized care and my social anxious child is all smiles and giggles with interactions from her teachers and even the cook (lol). Last week, it was her birthday and the staff went out of their way to purchase cupcakes to celebrate her birthday and even gave her a gift bag. I was speechless with the thoughtfulness and kindness! I 100% recommend this daycare!”
