I opened up an account for myself and my grandson to save money. Apparently I was notified Tuesday that I would have to pay $1,000 for transactions that went into my account and then taken right back out back in October of 2021. These were fraudulent transactions. I was never notified of these transactions. I opened the accounts to save money so I had know reason to check them. Well Apparently my grandson notified the bank of fraudulent transactions that was on his account when he wanted to remove money for a Lyft. My grandson stated that he spoke with a gentleman who credited his account with $20. Apparently this is the only bank in the world that does not insert a note or message into the customer's account. Not only that, the branch manager accused me and my grandson of running a scam without any type of investigation. I requested that they open up an investigation and they declined stating that I had 60 days from the date of the transactions to request an investigation. I was never notified of the transactions going on with his account which my name is attached to as well. The scammers have requested the money back from the original transactions that happened in October. The bank is saying I have to pay the money back. They did not investigate at all!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK. THEY BELIEVE THE SCAMMERS WITHOUT INVESTIGATE AND DISCUSSING IT WITH THE CUSTOMERS!!!

This is my bank because the staff is friendly, I have never had a bad experience at my bank. Main office is the best bank in town.

No issues with this location just here to gripe about their pathetic app which never accepts any checks due to its own incompetence. Seriously you would grow in clients if your app wasn’t garbage. Also please monitor the Hampton branch better they are in dire need of reprimanding and the ATM is always down for maintenance.

Do not, I repeat do not use this bank. I have been with this bank for over 10 years and they absolutely do not care about any person. They are all about the money. My account was hacked for $29 (I caught it early). I canceled the card. The next day I went to the bank and they informed me I would have to pay $30 to dispute and pay $25 for a new card. I was livid. Then my card was taken at the main branch ATM and I had to pay for yet another card. They messed up the card and the man at the drive up started laughing about it. I went today to get my money back and they said no. The lady in charge Anita sent someone to tell me it couldn't be done. Great customer service. Needless to say, I am now a forever patron of United Bank in Griffin. They care about the people!!!!

I switched to First National Bank Griffin, GA because there was not a Chase branch within a 30 minute drive of my home. I thought it would simplify things. From day one, FNB has been nothing but hassles. I regularly have declined transactions (both at home and abroad) for not notifying them about where I would be. They required credit checks for checking accounts. Refused to allow large transactions to go through even after calling them ahead of time. Now I am stuck in California unable to withdraw $200 from an account that has thousands in it, and the people on the phone say they are near closing time and can't help.
