Lawrenceville location, near Collins Hill and buford drive. Location not on yelp to write a review. Nice professional employees, kudos !However the ATM was malfunctioning, and they knew it for days. They should have directed ppl to the other 2 supposedly operating ATMs, until GBC employees etc ensured the malfunctioning one was fixed. This created a HUGE problem as an international traveler, it is nearly impossible to fix losing several hundred dollars not dispensed by GBC ATM. I went to GBC to support them, as a Georgian, but will not make that mistake again ! I would like to give a 1 star for this level of public disregard.

I have been with GBC for 4 yrs. I bank at the Griffin location. Everyone in this office has been very professional to me. I don't have to wait, walk up to the teller and I'm out. I don't know anyone personally, but thy all make me feel welcome. I give them 5 stars. Linda in Griffin

This was the most unprofessional and incompetent lending institution I have ever worked with. I have refinanced many of my houses many times and acquired helocs as well with and without a mortgage broker. I was involved in a home equity transaction with this lender via a broker and I will never do that again. I don't think the broker will either.

I cannot believe the horrid customer service I received from this company today. When calling for clarification on the general services they provide within the home industry, I was laughed at and told to call elsewhere. I'm glad I was treated badly on the first initial phone call; they saved me from what I believe would have been a very long and unhappy business partnership!

They leave you on hold forever and then transfer you around because they don't want to deal with your problem. Very rude on the phone when you do get someone. It's obvious they hate their jobs.

Georgia Banking Company needs to be boycotted. Because when we made an account it was just a regular checking account, so as long as we had the money in the account we can do banking transactions you know like cashing checks, paying bills, and etc. we started writing checks off the account for withdraws more than usual. So now they are closing my account when none of these checks have bounced and there is still plenty of money in the account and all checks cleared. We received a letter in the mail just saying they closing the account because there was "abnormal" activity . All that was going on was that checks was being cashed off of the account. They tried to make out like that "they weren't comfortable with it" And that they were going to write me a 'certified bank check"
