Went there in October of 2023 and told the doctor my symptoms, she checked me for Covid and the flu but found nothing. Although I told her I had traveled out of the country and was sick ever since I came back she told me she was sending me home with allergy meds. I paid and left. Went to the emergency room and was admitted. I spent a week in the hospital.

My husband had a visit today for an upper respiratory infection. What used to cost a $30 copay was $151 today. Apparently now if you have any labs, X-rays, or injections they go towards your deductible and you still pay the copay as well for the office visit. We will not be using this practice anymore, it’s going to get where people with private insurance can’t even afford to go to the Doctor when sick, sad!!

This place was god awful!!! The front receptionist was rude! We went next door and 5he front receptionist looke irritated, called this place and sent us back over. When we finally checked in we went back fast... The Dr. Didn't want to run Deficiency blood panel or panel for immune diseases as I was told to do. Told me to buy a blood sugar test at Walmart to check for diabetes instead of setting up a fasting test for me!!! At that point? I wasn't sure why I even went... all the major reasons she wouldn't consider. I was left with my allergies and got my referral. Part of the reason for a Deficiency test is to see if I am low on b12 or iron so I can help dysplasia IF it's caused by that. They did 2 xrays of my chest, said it looked fine but would send it over to radiology. Also... The cup they have you pee in? It's an actual paper cup.... yeah... a paper cup!!! It was disgusting, dirty. Everyone in the back sounded like they were goofing off rather than actually doing anything. They kept asking if I could be pregnant when I peed in a cup for them to test!!! It was a waste of time and money for them to turn down things that could be causing my issue.

Way too slow. Place gets worse every time. They blame new system but they just don't have enough people.. time to look elsewhere. 1.75 hours still not in a room

The wait was extremely long, but that’s no fault of their own. They were slammed . Everyone I met was super nice and very patient even though they were very overworked. I was even given an injection to get the healing started!!!

I have received great care at Family Medical. They have always went beyond to make sure I was taken care of. And the convenience of walking in to get a same day appointment is wonderful.

Recently went to the walk-in clinic with my husband because we were sick with sinus and respiratory issues. We got to a room fairly quickly but sat there for an hour before someone stuck their head in only to discover the room wasn't empty. It probably took another 10 or 15 minutes for a doctor to come in. Pretty standard after that. It's the season so you can tell he's seen a lot of patients like us recently. Had to wait a bit longer because he wanted a COVID test, negative thankfully. Shots, meds and we were on our way. I'm now dealing with female issues probably related to the antibiotics that aren't clearing up with OTC meds. Called the regular clinic for an appointment but not sure I'll keep it. I think the quality of this place has really suffered since Dr. Gore retired.

Be prepared to wait at the very least an hour for every visit. Ever since I was a kid, coming here was the worst part of being sick because of having to wait in a waiting room for up to TWO hours. The last thing a sick person wants to do is wait around all day in a public setting. If you have to drop someone off for an appt here you may as well get your errands done too because they won’t be coming out for a while.

My husband went in to see a doctor for a sore throat and was seated with COVID patients to wait for two hours. He was not told he could wait in his vehicle and every person behind him - not socially distanced - was there for covid exposure. He left because he has NOT been exposed to covid prior to this encounter. He is highly immune compromised and only went to the doctor at my request. We thought this place was a good choice because of our positive experiences in the past. Now we have to worry about possible covid exposure when we were originally only concerned about possible strep throat. This was the most unprofessionally run medical facility in the midst of a pandemic. Are they incapable of curbside check-in like my pediatrician, or wearing appropriate PPE (which no office staff member was wearing and all checkins were using the same pen)? Now what do we do?

Went for the "long" COVID test on July 8th and was told it was be 5-7 days to get the results, but they would call me. Called back after 7 business days and was told it was now 7-10 business days to get results. It is now July 23rd and I just received an email from FMC saying I had new information in my portal, so I assumed it was my test results. Opened it up to read that LabCorp could not perform my test because the specimen could not be located. FMC did, however, bill my insurance, who paid $110 for the test that was not performed.
