Mr Thaxton would not come out to discuss the completed work. I didn't think that was too much to ask since I was about to cut a check for over 7k..
When getting the estimate I specifically requested certain pieces of plywood to be replaced, the very ones mentioned were NOT replaced.. All he wanted was his check.
Also, when they dropped off the supplies tore up my yard, luckily I was able to get them back out to somewhat fix it.

Would rate a zero if it were possible. Rude. Unprofessional and their clean-up consisted of shoving the trash under my house. Completely unacceptable. Update: After several years passed, Mr. Thaxton found my review. He called to apologize, claiming the worker no longer worked for him. He then asked if there were any work related jobs he could do in return for (changing my review). If he knew he had issues with an employee, you'd think he would at least follow up with the customers affected by this employee. I think this is poor business tactics, and I have no interest in giving my trust again. That's the only reason Mr. Thaxton responded online to my review.

Thaxton Roofing does excellent work at fair prices. We had a tree fall on our roof and damage our master bath during the January 12th Tornadoes. They restored our home to better than new condition. A note of caution, since they are continuously busy you have to be patient waiting for your work to be completed.

Called numerous times for a roof leak and no response. Have called everyday and nothing. Very unprofessional and then to say he is a Christian man! Really? After work is done and you pay you'll never hear a word from them again.Service: Roof installation

We noticed leaking on our mud room ceiling, thought it was a plumbing issue, nope a leaking roof issue:((Oh my!! I called "Thaxton Roofing" Misty quickly responded to my cry of desperation... Excellent customer service, gracious, happy to HELP! Received same day service for est. & quote. Misty is definitely an asset to Thaxton Roofing! Now Chris, the owner of the company came out, serving Griffin residence his entire professional life... so impressed with his character and certainly felt the quote was reasonable!! Chris was very upfront and timely with his quote and giving us all our options for roofing and gutter installation. His quote was the best we got by far.His crew did the entire job in 2 days. Thaxton construction is one of the best roofers I have used as a property manager for my community. They have done about 70% of the roofs in my community, the club house and my own roof as well and we have not had any issues since! Great Service!
