I recently had to take my vehicle to Gerber in Grovetown for bumper repair . I was pleasantly greeted the minute I walked into your establishment by Emily Brooks and Stephen Athearn. Every time I talked with them, they were professional and friendly. I was informed about the status of my vehicle daily and the work was completed in a timely manner. I hit a deer and the front end was damaged pretty bad along with some scratches, etc. on the passenger side. Once they got into it the air conditioner unit was damaged and couldn’t get it to stop leaking- had it sent to a specialty shop for them to check the problem.I am so impressed with their concern and work they did. And also fixed the system that shows warning issues on my dash. They also called me on a regular basis letting me know what they were doing to the car..I will recommend Gerber-Grovetown to all my family and friends.AWESOME Job guys…..And, I also want to thank the Ladies at the front desk. Very professional and polite. Answered allMy questions no matter how many times I called. Unfortunately when they started to work on my vehicle the damage was more extensive then the estimated repair. If I have another vehicle issue of this nature I will go back too Gerber.

Gerber's name came up when filing a claim through my insurance USAA during an accident I was involved in earlier this year. I called them to get an inspection, and considering this location was fairly close to my home I thought I'd give them a try, and explained that the claim was open and would request that USAA assign it to them. So when I arrived someone named Victoria "inspected" the damage, and was so busy attempting to refute my military service by asking if the veteran's license plate on my vehicle belonged to me. Wow, you guys that far behind??? Yes I am the veteran, that was MY license plate, MY car, and I'm also the daughter of a career-retired Korea-Vietnam veteran who gave the military 30 years of service, if you can relate to that.So in the midst of the "inspection" I was given a range of dates to select an appointment to drop off my car, and was told to call first before arrival. SMH, appointments are for what exactly again?? And considering all of this I don't know why I did what I said I'd do by asking USAA to assign the claim to them, in spite of the bum-a$$ ignorance encountered during this visit. Needless to say ample time passed, and no record of this inspection nor repair estimate was be found, and when inquiring via USAA, all that Gerber could say was "we have it." Making a long story short I had USAA pull the repair request immediately and send me to another network collision center, and was very glad I did. An excellent job was done from start to finish with another provider and nothing was held up. It would be most accurate if Gerber received zero stars considering this experience.
