New to the area and because of my last area, didn’t need to do much with a post office until now. The staff working the counter (2 desks in this office) seemed very kind! One spoke Spanish and helped a few who spoke that primarily with their concerns. Only reason it was 4 and not 5 is just because etheir packaging options were really under or out of stock but I made my stuff fit in a smaller option!

I'm just done with the local USPS. All of my packages come in opened. Multiple times missing items in the last 4 months.

***UPDATE*** January 2025
I have neglected to update this review for 3 years.
Our neighborhood has the best postal carrier, TIM!!. Tim not only makes sure all packages that do not fit into our oversized mailbox are placed near our door, but he takes into consideration the weather conditions.
Big shout-out to Tim! You're awesome! Thank you for your outstanding service.
I have read so many negative reviews about the Grovetown post office deliveries. After living in Grovetown for 3 years now, I have experienced some of the delayed/damaged/no delivery of packages - twice this week! I ordered 2 packages from Amazon- received notice around 8:30 am they were BOTH leaving (out for delivery) the post office....I received 1 with my mail (10:30 am), the second package was still "out for delivery" and I should receive it by 8 pm. I was home ALL DAY!...at 7:15 pm, I checked tracking which says - 'We attempted to deliver your item at 5:53 pm on July 3, 2017 in GROVETOWN, GA 30813 and a notice was left.'...there is NO NOTICE!...and no package! I'm so disappointed, I really wanted our neighborhood carrier to be dependable and do their job with pride; I wanted to be able to write a positive post and thank my carrier personally AND give them 5 stars...sadly, I cannot. I don't think my post will change anything. I just hope this helps my neighbors know what I have experienced.

This is probably the worst post office there is…. The young African American lady with braids is the rudest one… The Male Manager at the back he is the WORST and also a liar! like if you don’t like your job then quit. They don’t know how to deliver packages or follow instructions I’ve never got my package in my mailbox I’ve always had to go out my way to go pick up. There are 2 older African Americans women ( I wish I remembered her name) that are very nice and they tried to help me as much as they could. I have put in a case with the district already 😃

Whoever the delivery person is for The Brighten area is horrible and a lier. I had a package that said, online, it was delivered on 1/17/2025. I got home from vacation on 1/20/2025. Checked the mail at 6:45 pm. My package was not there. I put in a request online to find my package. I get a call on 1/21/2025 from the Grovetown location telling me the mail carrier claimed it was in my mailbox the entire time and that they had a picture of it there. How was it there the entire time when I checked the night before? I go back to my mailbox and it magically is in there with new mail.

I have had no less than 5 packages from Amazon get marked as left in my mailbox and then not have it be there in the last 3 months. I go to the office and every single time the manager says he checked with the driver and they promise they put it in the box. Usually the package randomly shows up over a month later out of delivery packaging so there’s a good chance drivers or sorting staff are stealing packages and finding out if they’re useful to them.

Delivery person CAN NOT READ. Constantly receiving mail for other addresses. Almost every week we receive mail address to other people. The mail carriers are INCOMPETENT. The POST OFFICE doesn't even try to except information that THEIR EMPLOYEES DELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESS. THEY DO NOT EARN THE MONEY THEY ARE BEING PAID NOW WHY RAISE THEIR RATES FOR POOR SERVICE!!!%%%$##

Recently, I visited this location before opening hours because I had an urgent Poshmark order. I was shocked to learn there is a self-service kiosk that you can scan your own package and drop it off. Normally, I have to wait in a long line of eight people. I was in and out two minutes the kiosk really made my day!

The people who works there are helpless. The light skin, butch queen girl, with a butch built body is rude. She's always in front with a blank face without customer service skills. Nobody seems to know how to respond to a continuation of missing mail. I wish there was another way to get mail. Please put more friendly people at the front counter. That little girl is going to piss the wrong person off. Why hire someone without people skills.

This place is a perfect example of why deliveries need to be left to the private sector. My package was to be delivered to a hotel, and the name of that hotel was on the address line of the package. Yet, it went out for delivery five times before somebody finally figured it out
