My PHONE STOPPED WORKING. I came into the store on Steiner way in Grovetown. Melissa was very nice and knew what she was talking about. The experience was great. So many of her coworkers came over and she helped them and took care of me in 20 min. I won’t go to another location.

I spent 2 hours in this store. My friend came with me. I had 0 intentions of buying a new phone and my friend has service with the free phone government thing. Melissa took time to over an hour called a company that was not hers and set up her device. She did more than anyone else ever tried to do. I went ahead and upgraded my phone and it was a great experience.

The Cellular Sales Verizon franchisee location at 5008 Steiner Way Grovetown, GA 30813 has on several occasions provided exceptionally poor service to my family due to either poor training, poor communication skills, or less than forthright business practices. The most recent event involved a 4G hotspot which we were assured we would have a 45-day period in which to return the device with a full refund of purchase and service if it didn't suit our needs. Upon return of the device, the purchase price was credited but the service continued, and the activation fee remained. Upon readdressing the issue with the franchisee location, they purportedly approached Verizon, and were unable to prorate the service cost or credit the activation. My contact with the Verizon chat assistant resulted in the removal of the activation charge, but not the proration or removal of the service charge. Better, but still not what was discussed.I recently checked the remaining purchase balance on our phone. We were led to believe that we would receive a larger trade in credit for our old phones, more than the $20 we were credited. I could've scrapped or privately sold the phones for more than that. It was indicated at the time of sale that, due to the terms of the promotion, we could not pay off our phones at the time of purchase and would need to wait 45 days for the promotion to apply. Due to this, I lost track of the task and just recently discovered the variance between what I expected and the amount of the credit applied. It is also entirely possible that the communication model muddled the terms of the sale to the point where several different options, having been discussed previously, were not clearly dismissed prior to writing the deal.We experienced less serious, but none-the-less irksome issues on our last equipment transaction with this location. I don't recall the details, but I do recall the pique it caused me, and the fact the team member spent more time concerned with their own phones. We were not a priority, to say the least.Whatever the cause of these interactions, this is likely the last contract period our family will be using Verizon's services due to the company's association with this franchisee. I understand this is an insignificant loss of a few hundred dollars a month for your company, but I assure you my few hundred dollars is important to me and certainly appears to be better spent elsewhere.

The employees and staff were very friendly and eager to help. They did not have the item I was looking for in stock, but that was due to a Verizon Wireless website error. I did find out that this is a Franchise Verizon Wireless Store and not a Corporate Verizon Wireless store (like the one on Robert C. Daniel Jr Pkwy & the one in Evans off of Washington Road). Overall great experience and they are one of only a few Verizon stores that are open until 8 PM in the CSRA. I can say they did not have much inventory to choose from as far as cases and different phones go. That may be something they need to improve on in the future.

I recently upgraded my cell phone at the Grovetown Verizon store. Usually a change of this kind sends me into a tailspin as I’m not too tech savvy. But on this day, I really got lucky. My changeover was handled by Trina who is fairly new on the job—just a few months out of training. Although I was uncertain at first, her manner was efficient and calming. She had a good grasp on what I needed and provided it. When she was uncertain or wanted to double-check, she contacted her trainer. She checked multiple options to get me the best deal possible on the new phone and her promises on what my monthly charges would be have been accurate. If you need to work with a rep who knows what she’s talking about, who inspires confidence and then delivers, you need to ask for Trina. She is a real asset to Cellular Sales and Verizon. Thank you, Trina.

Michael was an amazing help. He was easy to talk to and explained everything we needed in detail. It was the smoothest transaction I’ve ever had. Thank you!

Save yourself the headache and deal directly with Verizon. This is a third-party store, Cellular Sales. My wife and I went into the store on June 3, 2023, to inquire about a promotion I heard Verizon had to upgrade to the iPhone 14. The sales associate looked up our account and this is when the scheming began. She falsely implied that both phones on our account were eligible for this upgrade and after verifying several times it would be this new low price for each phone we said let's do it. Now today I am receiving the promotion on one line and on the other I am paying full price on top of the other fees to buy myself out of the old contract that was never clearly discussed. Instead, the associate applied my phone's trade-in value to the out-the-door costs that consisted of the buy-out fee, sales taxes, and their bogus fees for the phone setup, which I can do myself but am forced to pay for. This place is nothing but a scam, they played into the one upgrade misleading us to believe both phones were in the same standing. Now the store associates will not help. they never opened a customer service ticket to my knowledge, would not return phone calls, and told me if I continue to call back since they would not return my calls that it would be considered harassment. Today I was belittled and my concerns were dismissed, I was told I should have read what I was signing, I am outside of the 30-day return window, and my bill is low enough so I shouldn't care..... I have told them is not just about the money, I offered to pay back the trade-in value credit I was given, and I am not looking for free stuff or taking advantage of a situation. I don't appreciate being tricked and misled into a contract.I will never again give money to this company. I was fooled once but not again. I am now working directly with Verizon to resolve the issue. Verizon has been very understanding and is doing what they can to fix the problem. I would like to stress again save yourself time, headaches, and money and deal directly with Verizon.

Do not go here. They are scammers and not an actual Verizon store. We were told we could trade in our current phones and pay $3 a month for new ones. Which they did for one phone. The other phone they lied to us and just applied the trade in value towards the out the door cost. This was after we confirmed several times. They will not return your call and run you in circles. When we finally got ahold of them they were condescending and undermining. They will scam and lie to you just to make a sale. If you do go here read the ALL the paperwork before you sign.

You should be in good hands with most of the reps here. I would specifically recommend asking for Toni P as your sales associate. She made the process pain free + fun without overwhelming you with technology jargon or sales pitches.Toni is great with kids and elderly parents as she won’t try to use sales pitches or sell products that aren’t necessary. I will purchase from this location and rep again and rate it a 5 star experience.

Can't walk into this place without them being overly pushy to change my plan or upgrade into something I don't want. I get different responses in store than when I call Verizon directly when it comes to offers. I absolutely dread coming in, turns out doing everything online is easier and less expensive. They also say they don't work off of commission.... right...

This is not a direct Verizon location. The company's name is Cellular Sales of Georgia LLC. They charge a $40 non refundable device set up fee on every device they sell. Returns are extremely difficult and confusing when you work with this company because their sales systems do not directly link into Verizon's. I was almost charged for a watch I had returned and our trade in devices were not reflected on our account. I had to call Verizon several times on multiple billing cycles to get everything resolved. Just go to the Verizon location in Evans because it is a direct corporate location and will not charge you a $40 fee per device.
