AVOID! I have an elite bladder yet I needed to use the restroom as badly as I have in my life. (Top 10 urgination - urgent urination - situation.) I hobbled inside to see a sign limiting restroom hours to 8 AM to 10 PM. I have never ever, ever, seen a limitation like this.
This is a safety hazard. For both my kidneys and perhaps employee well-being. Probably why they keep the clerk cordoned off in a box.
Management's attitude towards patron peeing is extreme enough to question and doubt the whole operation. Be patient and KEEP DRIVING!
While I realize the handful of justifications for loo limitations, there is NO REASON to stop here and if you have another mile of fuel left. More kidney-friendly stations are near. Keep driving and you will see a Texaco and Chevron without such anti-bladder bias.
The first time in my life I have been forced to improvise and build my own throne. I feel no qualms about doing what this Shell's approach to customer service forced me to do.

False advertising in pricing of convenience products
I visited the Shell Hapeville Mart on 07/10/2024 before 8:30 a.m. While in the store, I chose to purchase a snack item with a displayed price of $1.69. On handing over a cash payment of $5.00 and receiving change, I noticed I had been charged $2.29 for the item. I informed the cashier/owner that I had been overcharged and asked for an adjustment to reflect the price on the packaging. I was informed that I could not receive a refund.
Why? 1) The register monitor indicated the amount was $2.29 and I should have seen that. 2) He (the cashier) had already completed the transaction at the higher purchase price. 3) No refund was possible after I asked for a full refund since I no longer wanted the product.
Please note: The snack product clearly displayed a price of $1.69; there were no surrounding signs near the product nor anywhere in the store indicating there was a price increase over and above what the packaging indicated.
The cashier/owner was very rude. When I indicated I would call the police and report "the theft" I received a response of "Go ahead. Call the police." I am a senior citizen and a responsible one as well. I chose to file a complaint at the police department after the fact and not waste the time of a field officer. This was not about the money but the displayed policy of the company owners and the arrogance and rude manner in which my request was handled. I asked for the state registered information and was refused.
This happened because this company knows people will not complain over small sums. This means money in their pockets. Simple greed in my opinion. I will not visit again. And I will be pursuing any avenues available to seek retribution (honesty in advertising and service and not necessarily a refund). This is about principle and not money. This community services a large number of people of color and this should not go unnoticed. Let's make these convenience stores and other small retail business owners responsible. Convenience should not stand for "CON" game.

Beth and King are super racist they really hired people who don’t like the people in the community which makes no sense. If your black good luck they try to tax you more than white people. And they do not care cause they don’t think people will report them. 3/7/2024 King and Beth refuse to serve black people until “they felt like it” smh it’s crazy how people get away with stuff like this. Life’s too short for people to be racist and try to rip ppl off just because of there skin color smh

Customerservice was great and I see they’re opening up a restaurant inside. However the prices are ridiculous a gallon of water was five dollars a small Jamaican patty was five dollars.

Like the store, and the staff are kind. The owner is extremely nice. Unfortunately, I have bought Ben&Jerry's more than once that was spoiled. Maybe because the doors are not closed sometimes. Moved down the street from them a fewyearsback, and they are pretty much my go-to store if I need convenient store convenience. Be careful when buying items that may spoil, and you will be alright.

I had a fantastic experience at this Shell gas station in Hapeville, GA! The service was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The station was clean and well-maintained. Plus, the prices were reasonable. What truly impressed me was their amazing variety of snacks - they had all my favorites. I'll definitely be returning for my fueling and snacking needs. Highly recommended!

This little GEM here in hapeville is always a blessing always available always approachable, I've been a resident here in hapeville for 4 years or so and it's the best gas station here in the community of Hapeville it's always available for any needs I have from quick snacks, unique snacks, affordable gas their light is always on, door is always open, the staff is always accommodating, always a variety of essentials etc. even active on social media always with tips, suggestions, hints, and the best part of it always have positive reels on Instagram, whether we want to realize it or not it's another way of communicating with the community, it's not because of the brand "Shell" it's more tha that it's the inside that counts not the outside , I highly recommend this little piece of love in hapeville ?
