Karen is rude the way she speak to me, it made me feels like a child so instead of me buying something I end up putting it back.

I don't go in there very often, but when I do I find some great purchases. I will definitely think twice before going back. The cashier made a scene, calling me out very rudely for not stopping at the stop sign before approaching the counter. Before I had the chance to apologize and tell her that I had come from the toy side where there is not stop sign she loudly corrected me and made sure I knew that I understood that they had 4 of them posted. Had I known that was the procedure, I would have had no problem following their rules, but there was no one in line to check out and no stop sign on my way to the register. I wanted to ask about purchasing the silver table but at that point I was embarassed and just wanted to get out of there. All I am saying is that if the mission of this business is about spreading good will, their staff should be more discrete and less petty when interacting with their customers.

Loved shopping here till Miss Carrie (Control Freak) started working as a cashier. She is obnoxious & treats customers rudely. The other ladies are always courteous and helpful.

Attic Treasures is truly a treasure trove in little Harlem! Great bargains and finds. The ladies who serve here are like talking to friends.

Getting to be a habit. I love looking because prices are good, and you never know what you will find. It is run by volunteers and they are super friendly. Profits go locally to help communities including schools.People line up to get in when they open up. Each week certain items are on special. This is a place I like donating items to.

Best little thrift store around! ☺️ Prices are more than reasonable, the selection is wide and varies, and it is a TRUE charity.Everyone 'working' isn't- these are dedicated volunteers who do so in hopes of making someone's life easier and the world a better place! How awesome is this! ?I have found wonderful mcguffins, random knickknacks, and some art supplies (such as fabric, thread, yarn, cross stitch hoops, etc) that I had been looking for for YEARS ?(which they no longer make) in perfect condition.I have seen a variety of lamps, furniture pieces, bed frames, sporting goods, pet supplies, even tools! They do have some books, but... that's not their strong suit.? Most are really dated and hardback, they are ones that could be found in most any dollar tree's bin or any 1998 'bargain blow out' aisle -- a combination of self grandiose autobiographies and really bad political commentary ?. But hey, you might love that stuff, right? If so, now you know where it's landed. ?They also have a section for baby & children's items that included clothes, toys, books, bedding, and such.It is also the place I take all my items when they fail to 'spark joy' or I simply change designs. They have a place where you can drop off items- day or night- and we do! It makes things easier. It is often busy and many times, as of lately, the most hopping place in Harlem. I saw a line form 30 minutes before it opened the other day-- though I don't know why and I can only assume people were excited to get in, feeling the Christmas/Holiday rush. ?Where I can't say that I have ever shared THAT amount of excitement in it, I CAN say that it seemed to bring those in line fellowship and connection. Older folks laughed together over there, down the way a cluster of younger ladies with smaller children spoke as the kids dashed around as they do. Three older gentlemen leaned against a truck, not in line, but clearly waiting to go in. So perhaps 'waiting for it to open' has become an activity now. ?I would recommend this shop. It is found in Harlem, GA, at the 'Old IGA' and it moved from a much smaller shop on the main street.Smart move. So much more space here. ?The hours are kinda tricky because it is volunteer ran so please look it up, don't expect it 'ought to be open' all the time and then have hurt feelings if it isn't. They have a facebook page and there is always google. They also have a phone- but it's really inconsiderate to call when you could just look it up yourself, right? ? (Especially if your reading this- duh- you clearly internet ? Come on!)Because they do sell furniture and stuff, please don't go and expect that they can help you to move these items. ? Most of the little ladies I have seen are a buck - a buck ten- eighty pounds sopping wet, and are somewhere between your Mom & grandma's age ? They aren't moving a shrunk to your truck. Call your cousins, call your work friends, call your brother & his pal. ? They'll hold it for you (Ask before you pay and work things out, they are MORE than reasonable and they WANT to sell everything! ?)Oh, and please don't try to haggle ?...Not a yard sale. The prices really are more than reasonable! And they also have some really good sales, too! ?Hope this helps! ?

I love shopping at Attic Treasures. I always find things like cookbooks n craft books great price n most look brank new. It's like a small department store with clothes, toy, books, furnitures, purses, curtains, towels, blankets, and houseware are some examples of the many items that are for sale. Great prices better than Goodwell n all money goes to the community to help. They have such good volunteers that are all so friends. My grandkids love going there they know they will at least find a stuff animal to take home. They don't ask to go to Walmart any more its can we going to Attic Treasures n if I am off Thrusday, Friday or Saturday I go. Check it out there is always adding items during the three days they are open. Donations are dropped off in the back. Check it out on Facebook.

One of the brown hair shoulder length cashier’s purposefully over charges customers. I watched her do it on 2 separate occasions.
