The property is very pretty, combining rustic farm style with modern comfort and the beauty of the countryside right on Lake Hartwell. Guests can enjoy the lake, the animals, and the scenery, with plenty of areas on the property to lounge, walk around, and explore. The rooms are beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The hosts provide phenomenal hospitality, with warm smiles and genuine attention to detail. Their level of service is unmatched and they are friendly and happy to share recommendations. Each morning features a delicious, amazing homemade breakfast. Happy hour is also a delightful, unplanned extra. It is an extremely kid and baby friendly location, feeling like an adult summer camp. It is a great, quick drive from Atlanta for a weekend getaway to get out of the city. Guests leave feeling refreshed and are already ready to return.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at The Beacon!! We enjoyed seeing the lake, the animals, and just enjoying the scenery. The breakfast and happy were phenomenal! We are already ready to go back! Catharine and Sharon were incredible hosts. Thank you so much!

Pictures do not do this place justice!!! These ladies did an amazing job creating such a relaxing peaceful place to visit. We cannot wait to come back!! No detail was left out and their level of service is unmatched. Thanks so much!!!

We had a phenomenal experience! Catharine, Sharon, and Ellen are the best! The breakfasts were amazing, and Happy Hour was an unplanned extra! We stayed in "The Coop" and can't wait to stay in "The Jenny" when we visit again! Such a pretty property...an absolute 10 out of 10!
