“I'm new to butcher shop buying. If your new, inform the butcher when your greeted. I went in blind and clueless the first 2 visits. On the third visit I spoke with the butcher and had an entirely different experience. They know the answers and elaborate even on the questions you don't know to ask. The smoked chops and ham slices are unbelievably good. I asked for house marinated ribs and house marinated chicken wings and let me tell you everyone from age 8 to 84 in my family enjoyed them. We tried the beef hot dogs and the hot sausage for our grill out and didnt have a single one left over. That's just the meat! When was the last time there was a selection of fresh peas that included white acre peas? The buggy nor my freezer is big enough. I cook this food from this shop and feel honor when I serve it. Not questionable or uneasy about its origin. Farming and cooking are art forms that nourish our loved ones and ourselves.
