Fred's Famous Peanuts is a roadside country store located just a peanuts throw from Helen, Georgia. It is a must-stop place in the area, open during spring, summer, fall, and December. The store offers boiled peanuts that are delicious and the easiest shelling, along with fried peanuts, spicy peanuts, Cajun pork rinds, and cider. They also have a wide variety of goods like local honey, apple butter, salsas, jellies, canned goods, apples, and tee-shirts. The wonderful guys provide an amazing product, making it a cute little country store and a must-do visit.
It's really a nice little place. My grandchildren LOVED the puppets.

$5 firewood$6 for a large bag of boiled peanuts that are the easiest shelling boiler's i have ever eaten, not to mention delicious! The cajun pair well with a margarita or two ?
