“Best Bed and Breakfast around! I recommend this place to everyone I know. The rooms are so nice, beds are comfy, and all the rooms have large jacuzzi tubs! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. Right in town and walking distance to everything. We stay here as often as we can! I can't rate this place with enough stars!”

“Why have we waited so long to stay here? We booked a room with our kids to stay in Helen for the night at the Helendorf. I called the hotel directly to make the booking. The clerk was fast and friendly.We were pleasantly surprised by the room. The quality and cleanliness were top notch. We enjoyed the view of the river from the balcony.The location is perfect for walking around and exploring the area. Great shower, clean room, comfy bed, we couldn't ask for more.The check-in/out process was quick and courteous. We will be back for sure!”

“This place is incredible. We came on a kid free getaway and they did not disappoint. The rooms are beautiful and watching the sunrise above the mountain from our balcony was breathtaking. Great customer service and the entire property was just beautiful.”

“What a cool town and what better then to spend it in a cool motel...in a real windmill?Price was fantastic...pet friendly...met the owners, maintenance and managers..,top notch friendly caring staff.We upgraded to the suite with the Mountain View.It was on the second floor in the windmill itself!Clean modern comfortable! Fireplace in the room...huge TV...great amenities.Right where you want to be in town so you can walk to everything.Support small cool businesses!”

“WAS a repeat guest, NEVER again!! Two of my personal items were taken from my room while, I can only assume, housekeeping came by while we were out. Informed the front desk and I was told they trust their housekeeping staff and wanted an apology when I locate my items. NEVER LOCATED THE ITEMS. Immediate defensive response, even got passive aggressive response the next day during check out when I advised my items were not located. Completely floored me!! The beds were also VERY uncomfortable! The heated pool was under repair. Breakfast is beyond horrible. First experience here was flawless, besides breakfast, second experience … worst hotel I’ve stayed at, would not recommend. We will 100% never go back. I’m still floored by the response I received from the front desk … MIND. OFFICIALLY. BLOWN.Rooms: Room this stay was spacious, sitting room with couch was separated by a door. That was nice but the beds and couch were VERY uncomfortable.Nearby activities: City of Helen & Habersham Winery & Jumping Goat coffeeWalkability: Was able to walk to everything, for the most part.Food & drinks: Horrible breakfast, husband and mom liked the coffee.Noteworthy details: Two of my personal items were taken from my room while, I can only assume, housekeeping came by while we were out. “Our get away went good. I gave 4 stars because I paid for a smoking room, but unfortunately my wife is had trouble going up the stairs. So we settled on the 1st floor non smoking. Overall the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the grocery store and German restaurant is very close.”

“My friend and I stayed at the Baymont right after the new year. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was big and needed a little updating but accommodating. All in all I would return.Nearby activities: There is a lot to do and tons of shops with homemade candles and popcorn. I could go on and on.Safety: Felt very safe and comfortable walking around at nightWalkability: Loved walking through the little town of Helen and looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights and displays. It was magical. We will be coming back soon.Noteworthy details: The staff was amazing. Mindy at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. 5 stars for Mindy”
