“Our rooms were conveniently located close to the main strip, making all of our visit walkable in a busy town. The workers were all very kind and friendly. The exterior of the hotel could use some touch ups but was overall beautiful and a unique experience. The bed was a little hard and the pillows are very thin so I would suggest bringing your own pillow. The breakfast was enough to fill you up but make sure to go as early as possible because they will run out of food quickly. Overall great value for the price of the room.”

“We stayed in the king bungalow room with a full kitchen and spacious living room area, complete with a reclining couch and chair. The bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Everything, for the most part, seemed new or nearly new.
Close to everything but not in the middle of it. FYI: The driveway up to the motel is pretty steep, which makes walking up it after a night at the beer halls or bars a little challenging. We would stay again.”

“It's the only place we stay in Helen anymore. Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms, lots of nice little touches at breakfast, plenty of towels in the rooms, etc. We'll be back again in the spring I'm sure ?”
“It's one of the oldest hotels in town, so don't expect luxury. But it's way better than we expected. Very clean, safe, and our balcony over the river was awesome. The cable TV was the only place we stayed this trip with real aps to use for movies. Across the parking lot is a very authentic German resteraunt that's also river front. Within walking distance of all the good shops and bars in Helen. For the price and location of say excellent place.”
“The overall experience was great the only issues we encountered were: the sink and tub drained very slowly. The toilet you had to hold the handle to get it to flush.
It is located on the south end of the strip so it's within walking distance of everything. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.”

“My husband and I just returned from a 3-night stay at Valhalla Resort Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was excellent! The food was wonderful, the service was fantastic and our room was beautiful and quiet. We loved looking out over the pool, golf course and the mountains. Every staff member we interacted with obviously cared about taking care of us as their guests. As a tea drinker I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea provided in the lobby. Having a beautiful and restful place to go where no children are allowed makes it extra special. Give staying here a try. You won’t regret it! ❤️”
