It's a small store. Not a lot of parking area. Couple gas pumps and basics for drinks and nabs. Small restroom, but there. Friendly staff. I usually stop here when I'm up that way motorcycling. Keeps from having to go into Helen with all the traffic.

After visiting realized gas was much cheaper at other near by stations. Store wasn't that clean and very small parking lot!

Stopped by to get a tank of propane filled and discovered they have fish bait including live crickets

Was driving through on a near empty tank, so we stopped to get 4 dollars worth of gas to make it through Helen, I took the gas pump out and pressed "regular" and without mashing down on the lever on the pump gas just started pooring out EVERYWHERE!!! Luckily I quickly held the pump out away from me and facing away from my car so not too much got on me!! The gas did not stop flowing until I tried to put the pump back on the tank! My mom, who was in the car got out when she heard me panicking and at first she didn't know what to do so told her to go get the man in the store and tell him that the gas pump has malfunctioned! She went to run inside and nearly fell on the pavement, she got gas all over her shoes. When the guy from in the store came out to see what had happened he messed with the handle a bit and said that if the lever got stuck it was no longer stuck then told us we had $1.45 left! They didn't even offer to give us our money back and since we were so panicked over the whole thing we just used the $1.45 for a bit of gas and left as fast as we could!
That was dangerous and we could have been hurt, our clothes could have been ruined, a fire could have started and now my car smells STRONGLY of gas!!! Never again will we use this gas station and with service like that and malfunctioning, out dated pumps like that I would advice others do not use this station either for their own safety!!!

This is a very basic and 3rd class gas station which is the closest to the south of High Shoals Falls and there are plenty of other stations around but this is the closest to the falls. You pay inside first then you fill the gas outside. This is also a basic convenience store which might be very helpful for the needy.

I love this little store. I stop in almost every day. I enjoy the the friendliness of the employees and the willing to help when can. being someone that goes often, I’ve asked for something they didn’t have and they are willing to order so it would be in The store for other times.. great place!
