Went there for a Sunday brunch. Food was delicious and the meal price was reasonable.... My biggest complaint is the cost of a mimosa and a bloody Mary. If you're trying to fill up the restaurant for brunch on Sunday. A $12 Mimosa is not the way to do it. I spent $96 on a Sunday brunch. Largely due to two mimosas and one bloody Mary. Probably won't be back.

Wonderful place so near the town of Helen, a few things were not up to the resorts standards, the best room in the hotel 408 had a horrible smell of sewer waste this happen to come in the middle of the night so we did not want to call and report and leave so we stuck it out but it got worse. We reported it to the hotel the next morning upon out check out and they ONLY gave a $38.00 compensation! In addition to this we were excited about going to the SKY BAR on the 4th floor but it was closed because the bartender called in sick wow the resort couldn't find a replacement for the night. Although this is a beautiful resort and awesome location I do not think the resort handled this with a proper compensation, I don't believe we would return not at $400.00 a night.

This place is incredible. We came on a kid free getaway and they did not disappoint. The rooms are beautiful and watching the sunrise above the mountain from our balcony was breathtaking. Great customer service and the entire property was just beautiful.

This dining experience was a surprise and pleasurable. If you are looking for a delicious, off the normal path, this is the place. We were surprised with the quality and deliciousness of the food. So many flavors on one plate was great. The facility was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. We enjoyed every minute and bite.

We received very poor treatment since we arrived. Firstly, they did not honor the rate we paid through Expedia, claiming Expedia had incorrect rates. The bungalow had dirty carpets, and the hotel was closed from December 31st to January 3rd or 4th due to vacations. On December 31st, the hotel was only open for guests who had dinner reservations, whether they were hotel guests or not. We checked out, found no one at the hotel, and left the key in a fire alarm box. The overall food and service were bad, and they did not fulfill all the services advertised on their website.

My wife and I decided to take our first Christmas getaway without being around family. Just the two of us for some quality time relaxing doing something different. I’ll start with the hood from this visit.1. The absolute best service from our waiter that I’ve probably encountered in years. Tall gentleman named Mathew working the Skybar Christmas Eve, promote this man! We got lucky enough to have him for our waiter the following afternoon on Christmas during the Christmas Day buffet.2. Food was great! Seemed a bit pricey until we ate it, then it was totally worth it! Buffet food on Christmas was top notch.3. Location of hotel is beautiful and the appearance from the outside as you come up the hill is quite the view. The not so good:I’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world; S. Africa, Dubai, Qatar…. If we’re paying almost $400 for a single night, I have a bit higher expectations for the room and accommodations. The room was average at best, I’ve paid $120 for a night at a holiday inn and it was better quality for the money. It wasn’t dirty, but outdated, fireplace didn’t work correctly no matter the setting it barely lit beyond the flicker of pilot flame. So the ambiance for romantics e kind got lost right of the bat. Started flipping through the hotel guide to see what we wanted to do while there. We’ll, it appears that everything on site at the resort cost more to do, even the sports activities outside of golf. With resort fees on the bill, why do i need to pay to rent a pickle ball? Nice display of CBD gummies, snack candies and some random different beverages in the fridge. Then I see the price list, almost $400 for the night and I can’t even get spotted and damn pack of skittles or a soda.If in the area again, we would certainly come for the restaurants and service, but will likely take a pass on staying.

Overall a great hotel to stay. The room was perfectly clean, the staff very friendly, a very quiet atmosphere where you can relax.I just give 4 stars because the fireplace in our room worked very light, it was enough to warm up the room but it didn’t really lighten up the room. Also, I wanted to visit the Spa, that was one thing I was so exited about to use and that day it wasn’t open.

This resort is tucked away in the foothills of the N. GA mountains. My awesome Sister In Law helped my husband surprise me with a romantic getaway to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing, the room was amazing, the views were amazing. Already planning our next visit!!

My wife booked a reservation in what was supposed to be a "4-star resort", according to their website. She booked the Deluxe Bungalow, which is supposed to be the best. After resort fees and taxes over $500.00 per night. Upon our arrival everything was nice, and check-in was easy. Then it went downhill from there. We realized very quickly that it is more like a 2-star resort. The room was painted depressingly gray. The same color you see in prison movies. Not romantic colors or furnishings at all.The bathroom door was hung on the wrong hinge and was in the way and had no way of not being when trying to get into the toilet closet. The remotes (plural) for the TV were impossible to understand so I gave up.We stopped in the gift shop to by a couple of sweatshirts and a painting to remember our stay as we often do. There was no employee in sight but there was a sign saying to take purchases to the front desk. The desk clerk was on the phone, and we waited while he spoke with a future guest. Understandable and didn't mind waiting...until the manager came out of the office, saw us still waiting over 5 minutes later and instead of helping us, went back in her office and closed the door. Very poor management, and as we all know bad customer experiences start with bad management. We went to eat an early dinner in the restaurant. There were literally no customers in there when we arrived, yet no one was there seat us. It was 2:45pm mind you. Finally, being seated the service was abysmal. It was beyond slow, and no one seemed to care about their job. My wife ordered a bottle of wine and after about 10 minutes of being told they were looking for it we were informed that they didn't have it. We then waited to someone, anyone to take our order. We did not have anything complicated, a burger, fries and a salad. After 20 minutes, we decided to give until 3:40pm and we would leave. The food was brought out 6 minutes before the deadline. The food was actually okay and tasted good. Still the service for a refill of my iced tea came slowly.Again, this bungalow (the best in the house) and the resort is claimed to be 4-star, was very disappointing.I'm not sure what the resort fees covered since the information in the room showed that everything offered was at an additional cost.I see other reviews and, in my opinion, the 5-star reviews must have been written by family, friends, staff or other fake people. Our experience was similar to the 1-star, 2-star and some 3-star reviews.Think before booking here. You might want to stay at a cheaper hotel and feel like you get what you pay for.

Check in got name wrong, luggage in wrong room, waited 2 hrs plus for room 208, luggage in 205. First check in receptionist not professional, later Judy second was very nice, finally got straightened out. Door-man professional and good. Much chaos, loud staff during our 2 hr wait for wrong room, but perhaps tired day after Thanksgiving. Restaurant essentially in lobby, expensive. Room comfortable, coffee good in room, shower good, fireplace should be deleted. Parking system good.

Let me share the 'highlights' of our experience to explain the 3 star rating. First, we arrived "early" for a 10AM spa appointment ahead of our hotel reservations and the staff were in a tizzy like it was unheard of guests arriving prior to the formal and official check-in time of 4pm. Surely this has happened before and there is sanctioned protocol for such events? Either way, we were not trying to check-in at this point - we had spa appointment! We made our way down into the basement, past the laundry room and caution wet floor signs and chokingly strong cleaning detergents, and into the spa area. Note, this is really a massage place and not so much a spa with any "add-ons" like a pool or sauna or relaxation or any of those things one might hope for when staying at a "resort spa". It's a massage in and out type of situation. After the most brutal massage of my life where I was left with shame and remorse, we did head back upstairs to inquire about our reservations. And this is the part that has me scratching my head - the concierge said she would call us when our room was ready, probably in the next two hours. And, she would even make sure our luggage was in the room waiting for us. How great, couldn't ask for anything more! We were planning to head into town anyways. So after 3 hours of enjoying Helen we head back to the hotel and still no phone call so we grab drinks at the bar, waiting. Until 4pm comes around and still no call, even though it was expressed we would be able to check-in prior to the official time. So we check with the *new* concierge lady upon shift change, and wow, our room is actually ready! So weird that we never got a phone call and our luggage most def was not in the room. Just odd to state all these things like a top tier resort but then not follow through. It left us feeling weird. Plus, it felt very cringe that everything in the room was for sale, tray of snacks and CBD gummies, just charge it to the room! Want a beverage, charge it to the room! Like this painting hanging on the wall, $200 and I'm sure you could simply charge it to the room! Special shoutout to our bartender in the Sky Bar! Super friendly and made up for some of the other idiosyncrasies with the rest of the staff we experienced during our stay. Also, now we're converted Nebraska volleyball fans!
