Do not take your loved one to this hospital. They treated my MINOR daughter without our consent. We told them three times NOT to treat her until we arrived. (She was not in any emergent danger). We were only informed that they were going to do a mental health evaluation. When we got there, they had already treated her and refused to even let us see her. The doctor signed a 1013 and they told us that she was now in the DFAC custody (a lie) and they were transferring her to a mental health hospital. They ran multiple tests and x-rays without our consent or knowledge, and then sent us a bill for $2,000.00. They refuse to give us any medical records, and when we confronted them as to how they treated her when she wasn't in DFAC custody and we expressly told them to wait until we could get to the hospital, they lied and said that we gave them consent. This is medical kidnapping. No one will even speak to us about this issue or tell us how to file a complaint against the hospital.

Took my family member in to been seen for possible stroke and they could barely walk as it is. I immediately got a wheelchair for them and was not offered any help by front desk reception. The person was nice but didn’t seem to want to get up out of her chair to help us. For someone that was being seen for a stroke and could not visibly walk and was struggling to move, that place sure didn’t seem to care much. Once we got into the er they did treat him accordingly.

Tried to pay my bill online with a credit card. The account number didn't work. Tried to call in the payment and that was unsuccessful. Representative stated I had to write a check. What if I didn't have a checking account! This is the most back woods organization I've ever experienced!

I have had so many bad experience at this hospital and didn’t leave a reviews, but they really crossed the line last night. My 9 month old had an accident and he was bleeding really badly from his mouth. I called 911 and they advised me to take him to the hospital, so I did just for us to get there, have the nurse give me one piece of gauze and tell me to go sit in the waiting room, because they don’t have any rooms. This whole time my baby was bleeding severely from his mouth. I then had to go ask the receptionist if they could give him any medication because he was in pain the whole time so the nurse came face him Tylenol for pain but did nothing else to try and stop the bleeding. I then had to go to the receptionist AGAIN and ask for gauze and she had a nasty attitude telling me that she didn’t have any idk why she couldn’t just call the nurse like the other receptionist did but okay. Are just gave me what looked like dental bibs and did not help the bleeding. Needless to say my baby never got seen and we ended up leaving. This hospital is absolutely terrible and it’s terrifying how they are allowed to operate. If people have real severe emergencies they’d die before they even get to the back because this place is so slow. I’ll never bring my kids back to this place. I’ll just make the drive to Savannah the level of care and speed of treatment is so much faster. I wish I would’ve just taken my son there but the amount of blood he was losing scared me so I settled to come here but never again.

Ms. Jana (I believe that was her name) was extreme nice administering my meds and the doctor (can’t recall his name) listened, checked me out, and prescribed exactly what I needed. Horrible and incompetent staff. Took my fiance to the ER due to hemorrhaging after a surgery. It took 25 minutes sitting in the waiting room for them to let us back into a room. All they had her do was swish ice water. They wouldn't do anything as they waited for the insurance to come back. We gave them our insurance card but the illiterate and ghetto nurse didn't know how to input the insurance ID. We showed her the insurance was up to date online but they still refused to do anything. My fiance bled for 30 minutes in an exam room while the nurses were laughing at her in the lobby. The uneducated, diversity hire of a nurse never put in our insurance details and now we have a $1,270 bill for the zero service we received. Over a thousand dollars for a cup of ice water?? You'll get better trained staff in an Atlanta drug alley than this hospital.

My wife comes to the ER complaining of chest pain, And numbness in her left arm, and they have her sitting in the waiting area!!! I thought these types of situations, they would be considered priority!!! And they're suppose to rush you right in!!!

How this hospital is operating I have no idea it's the most filthiest place I've ever been into. Some of the staff was nice some of the other staff was rude and unprofessional. I went in because my blood pressure was spiking and I'm new to the area and new to the state. Nobody was in the waiting room but two people which were together. I was called back within moments to do my intake and do a urinalysis shortly after they brought me back to a room where they did an EKG my labs and brought me down for x-rays I waited five and a half hours with no results and I was discharged with a stool specimen. The doctor never came in to discharge me or to explain anything. The next day my daughter try to bring in my stool specimen they were rude they were disrespectful told her that she had to register she's not me that I had to be there, not any of the explanation that was given when I was told that I could just drop it off the next day. Silver specimen was thrown away The lab had a retrieve the specimen from a trash and also put in orders to test for salmonella E coli and other tests because the doctor never even requested those after he knew I was bleeding from my GI tract.I don't understand what's happening in this country's health care but it's getting really scary somebody could have died at that hospital last night due to the lack of negligence. I have filed several complaints along with my insurance company as well anybody else should do the same This has to stop.

After going to the local urgent care I was told that I needed to go to an ER to have an ultrasound done. My husband drove to Liberty and I couldn’t be happier with my care. After a very short wait I was taken back to my room. Mr. Crutchfield NP was waiting. My nurse (Alejandra) and radiology tech (Kaylee) couldn’t have been better. After a scan and ultrasound Dr. Devani came to talk to me about the results. I was admitted where the surgeon Dr. Corfield-Floyd came to talk to me. I was taken to the OR where again everyone was so nice and accommodating. My nurses who took care of me after were so attentive and took time to listen. This was my first experience at Liberty because I always have gone to Savannah and I was very impressed.

New to area. Had two tests done this morning at hospital. Everyone I was in contact with was wonderful. Could not have asked for anyone to be any nicer or more courteous. Very good experience. I know any hospital, at any time, can and will have problems, but patience and a smile goes a long way toward a good experience. I definitely had great staff and techs and a very good experience. Thank you Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Terrible ER experience. Mom was brought in by ambulance. Woman at desk in ER has attitude dripping off of her before even dealing with her. She told me my mom had not been brought there. Had to call 911 dispatch to confirm she had in fact been taken there; 911 dispatch ended up calling the ER to get the information for me and to let ER know that I was there to be with my 81 year old mother. Ridiculous!! Must say though that doctor in ER was very thorough and that nursing staff was professional, friendly and compassionate.

I want to begin by saying the care I received during my ER and MS visit at LRMC was exceptional. I was seen in the ER and admitted to the floor in May of 2023. I received a call late August of 2023 asking if I had received my bill. I had not received anything from the hospital except a radiology bill that was paid. We clarified my billing address, and the bill was sent. I received my FIRST BILL on September 6, 2023. I got a call on September 12, 2023 asking if I received the bill. I said yes and clarified the amount. No payment was made during September because we were in the middle of selling our house, moving, and starting new jobs. On October 11, 2023, I received another call asking if I was aware of my balance. I said yes, I will be making a payment soon. I asked on this date if I was being sent to collections anytime soon, the man said no not at all. On October 19, 2023, I opened a letter (dated 10/11/2023, the same day I spoke to someone who said I would NOT be sent to collections) that stated I had 5 days before my bill was being sent to collections (so only 5 weeks after receiving the initial bill). On October 19, 2023 I tried to clear my account, only to find out I HAD been sent to collections. So my bill wasn’t sent to me until 4 months after my stay, and 5 weeks later I was sent to collections. If they are comfortable doing this to an employee (yes, I was employed there from March 2018 until July 20, 2023), I can’t imagine what the other folks of this community are experiencing. I am beyond disappointed but not surprised that LRMC is hurting this badly for dollars.
