You really get what you pay for. There is no towel service, no tissue or hand sanitizer, and no paper towels in the bathrooms. The sauna is a joke. The tanning beds are stand up and they get hotter than the sauna, ha. No mats. It seems like there are always so many ppl working but not really doing anything but standing around chatting with each other. Decent equipment availability

This is my favorite club for the lighting. Equipment availability and location. I do recommend more attention to the locker rooms and equipment condition. Sticky stuff on the floor and worn equipment pads is becoming more and more frequent. I only see one attendant usually no one appears to be here during the peak morning hours. I like the sign out for weight bar collars but a sign indicating that's what you need to do would be nice b

Shocked to see the ratings. Yes there are some negatives. Space is a little limited and it can be irritating when the trainers are with their clients in the hit zone, and depending on what time of day you come you're SOL when it comes to stretching because classes take up the group fitness room and the hit zone area, yes some of the welcome staff will try and force you to share something on Facebook, though they will ask if they can see your phone, not just take it, and despite the number of people that work there, the paper towels will find themselves empty all at the same time, but as someone who has been here since day one, I can also provide you with a host of positives. For the most part all of the staff is nice and welcoming, and they do their best to keep the place clean. All of the equipment is functional, and if it is broken it is fixed in three days or less. They ALWAYS has cleaning staff there to make sure the morning rushes mess isn't left for everyone else for the rest of the day. Parking isn't terrible, though there is one pot hole they could stand to fill. No gym is going to be perfect when it is a commercial gym, but compared to other places (you know, the one across the street next to hobby lobby), I will take this place over it any day and then some.

PSA-- they will take your phone and post your location!! The guy at the front desk asked me to pull up Facebook on my phone. I figured he wanted me to like their page so I went along with it. As soon as I had Facebook opened he took my phone out of my hand, which was already completely unprofessional and a violation of my space. I only realized later that he posted my location publicly. I cannot stress enough how dangerous this is for young women!! The people at crunch don't know my age or situation, and under no circumstances should they post someone's location without their knowledge. This put me in a vulnerable position that absolutely should not have happened.

I became a member of Crunch Fitness in Hiram, GA on October 14, 2023. Along with that I also signed up for personal training sessions. My contract consisted of a minimum of 5 installments of $83.00 weekly. I paid the 5 installments and I notified my trainer that I wanted to cancel. He claimed that I hadn't paid enough and that I need a minimum of 6 payments in order to cancel the program. After my 6th session he wanted to schedule and have me pay for another session the next week. He was adamant that this was my 5th session and I had one more left. I did not pay for the future session and went home to check my bank statements. I had already been overcharged because I had paid 6/5 payments according to my contract. That same week I was charged again so this made payment 7. I went back to the gym to cancel the membership and get a refund because I was charged twice in a week and had continued to be charged up to 9 payments after I repeatedly asked to cancel the program. An employee, who is over all personal training finances was very disrespectful. He clapped his hands and said phrases verbatim of "That's on you" "I've explained it already im not going to explain anything again" "I don't care what you say or how you feel about it" . It was very nasty and this was not his first negative encounter with a customer. They finally let me cancel the PT sessions on 12/8/23. I have also cancelled my membership as a whole on 1/18. Since the 8th and even after 1/18 I have continued to be charged, and to this day i have a total of 10 charges of $83 which is a total of $830.This process was drawn out longer than needed because of the staff and there was nothing that I could do about it because only staffing has access to this paperwork. I have been charged for sessions that I did not agree to nor want. If the trainer and finance man abided by my contract and allowed me to cancel when i initially asked then we would not have gotten to this point. It is very unprofessional and he should have cancelled me when I stated that I was charged 7 times. I asked for accommodation and was told "there is no accommodation" . I have spoken to the General Manager of the location and have received no form of positive customer service or resolution. I feel that fair accommodation is to refund all payments made on and after 12/8 including the $82 member cancellation fee. The finance employee needs to face consequences for his actions because I am not the only one that has gone through this at the Hiram location. If your corporation is not interested in improving customer service and doing right by your paying customers , I am willing to take legal actions. I have already contacted the regional manager and will be going further if there is no resolve.

Been with this Gym since June 2022. I will never forget how Mr. TK the Gym manager hung up the phone and refuse to tell my daughter and I the reason why they did not freeze her account after she requested Krunch to do so. Mr. TK claimed that my daughter never paid her $34.00 balance off and that’s the reason why they could not do so.However, she was never informed over the phone she would encounter more late fees and the fact that the account would never be frozen, due to a current balance. My point is I didn’t have a problem with paying whatever, yet it was how we were treated and talked to is why my daughter and I finally had enough of them ripping us off. lol how did the balance in September go from the $34.00 to now $120.00? TK knew this was wrong on every level but decided to ignore our conversation and aggressively push to collecting the balance.I must say Mr. TK is a poor reflection and representation of the Company he works for.I am over bad customer service and would never recommend anyone to this Gym ever. I recorded our interaction and TK the manager was unhappy about it and stated he decline.I am sure he will reply to my message on google because he doesn’t really want to look bad on these street. Yet if this never happened I would never post.In addition, Mr. TK was so angry ? he decides to call the police to try to deter me but he failed plan never works

TERIRBLE - Signed up for personal training and they did not cancel when I asked them to. Over charged me $627 for sessions I did not use and refused to refund me or allow me to use it towards anything else. Upon attempting to cancel they did not inform me of anything I needed to pay and instead charged my account even more money. They will do everything they can to take money from your account and prevent you from canceling. Do not take your business here. Scam!

I’d recommend crunch gym to anyone. It’s a big open space with enough equipment to get everything done. If you’re looking into partnering up with a trainer, Thomas is your guy. He’s easy to talk to and keeps you motivated on your fitness journey, and of course knows what he’s talking about. ?

Rude Personal training manager attitude causes me to cancel membership. DO NoT USE their scamming billing method on the training session. Charge for 10 session and only had 4 . PT manager refuse to provide his managers information.

I usually don’t write reviews, unless I had a bad service or experience. But, my wife and I are having such a Great experience at Crunch Fitness- Hiram. I wanted to share and give them kudos. We finally went back to the gym since COVID 19 and signed up with trainers Elijah and Mercy for personal training. I was skeptical about paying for training since we’ve been hitting the gym previously. But, I have learned so much more with them and most importantly their knowledge that helps me correct my form when doing the exercises. I had no clue that I was doing some exercises incorrectly. Also, their encouragement to keep going and not quitting early. It’s only one month so far and I can feel the difference. I recommend that 90% of people should get a trainer to put you on the right path to get the most out of your workout time.

I'm not sure why this place has a low rating. Yes, there are a ton of trainers 'selling themselves' but that's their job. Honestly, someone may offer you a training package here and there but once you become a regular, they won't. I love working out at crunch. They have great equipment and good group fitness instructors. My absolute favorites are Shan, LaTanya, and Cindy. The gym gets busy in the evenings when most ppl get off of work. No complaints from me.

If I could do less than one star I would. These people will scam you and let others use your account and apply charges to your card. I'm begging anyone who happens to see this to protect yourself and not give them any information. Even their BBB only has one star. Please use any other gym.

BEWARE THEIR PERSONAL TRAINING:This is not run by the location but by the corporate entity. This is where they make their money off of you.Their Personal Training side of the business is shady. Designed to pressure you after your "Jump Start" Session. They will not take no for an answer and try to pressure you based on questions such as "who in your life motivates you? Don't you think they would support you paying this much to better yourself?" and always pitch the highest cost tier Personal Training package on everyone,This is all to rope and guilt you into accepting overpriced training and take your money. They put the majority of every client through the same cookie cutter workouts in the same areas. If you're moving or changing your Training regiment the terms you sign do not protect you in any manner. Even if you follow their in person cancellation policy. They will deliberately try to put a "Hold" on your PT account rather than cancel it(Be sure you read what they are having you sign), If they sneak your account to a hold instead of the cancellation like the did mine as I requested per their in person policies, after a few months they will start charging you again and claim you didn't follow their in person cancellation even if you do. Then claim the charges are non refundable. I'm now sitting on the equivalent amount of 8 sessions worth of payments and can not get ahold of their management to get this rectified. being constantly told its not refundable and them reversing fighting chargebacks.Terrible treatment of me, a veteran during financial hardship0 Stars if it were possible. Trash and shady business.

Customer appreciation day? How about let me walk in and go workout without being harassed. Maybe set up a table, have some free stuff to appreciate the customers, just say thanks, I don't know. Keep it simple. Maybe don't block walkways by the treadmills while there's a big open studio to do a bunch of personal training. You have member contact info, email me, text me, and ask me if I'm interested in personal training. I don't want to open up my Facebook and like and share your posts.
