Staff is doing their best, but Wellstar has made it horrible.
Somehow they lost 8 vials of blood as it never made it to the lab to be tested. Not even the first time they've lost specimens. With over-crowding because their corporate overloads refuse to disable walk-ins and only go appointment-only, you have a huge HIPPA risks due to no privacy as well as a high-risk of contamination and transmission. The staff is doing their best, it's not their fault, but it's the fault of Wellstar.
I can't trust Well-Star for my healthcare, and I can't even trust them to take blood and deliver it to a lab.
Avoid Wellstar, go anywhere else.

The Lab for this big hospital is a complete disaster for staff and patients. The worst experience ever for this huge facility. All services performed in a room that has 25 patients, 9 or 10 cubicles. Your name called everyone hear and see your complete assessment. Please address this issue immediately.

I am 81 years old. There were 25 people in front of me to get blood work done. There were no seats available. I had to leave without getting work done.
What is going on? Do you need more staff? I suggest you hire them as soon as possible.
Older people like me have to hire a ride or get someone to take them. A two hour wait for blood work is not feasible
For lots of older people.

Had a great experience today at the WellStar Lab Services at Paulding Hospital. My Phlebotomist was Diontae and not only was she very nice and friendly, she had a few questions about my order and she talked directly to my Doctor who wasn’t affiliated with WellStar to make sure she was drawing the right blood samples and ordering the proper tests. Thank you!

Staff is very efficient and kind. The only drawback is the sign in area is way too small and normally there are too many patients waiting to sign in at one time

Long wait even with appointment. The staff were rude rude rude!!! Why is this type of behavior acceptable? I hope they knew what they were doing. If they can’t be nice then do something about it.

The wait was pretty long, especially since they don't open the doors until like 7:15. Getting blood drawn was quick and easy but completely useless because Labcorp didn't recieve them.

Lab was to open at 7AM 05/24/24. Did not open until 7:15. Only 1 staff member. Per information desk it is a holiday weekend and no regular staff. Lab management should know you never let all staff off at the same time. No excuse for patients to have to wait. Maybe need to look into better management

Just had my blood drawn. The lady was so rude. I noticed I was bleeding through my bandage and my arm hurts so bad I cannot straighten it. Awful experience.
