“This is a must place to stop at if you want quick friendly service and I have always found what I was needing and looking for every single time don’t take my word for it try it for yourself and I promise you you will be satisfied every single time”
“The store is very well-organized. There is tons of inventory, but plenty of room for more inventory, so they may get more as they get settled. So far, it looks like this is comparable to the larger Athens store in inventory variety. There is a great selection of seasonal items, party supplies, and tons of home decor and craft and floral supplies in addition to storage containers, cleaning, house, office, school, and kitchen supplies, toiletries, makeup, meds, dishes (plastic, ceramic, and disposable), toys, socks, small backpacks, and groceries including frozen food, snacks, drinks, and canned goods. The two things I did not see were pet supplies and tools, but I may have overlooked them.The first thing you notice is the smell of drywall, but that's temporary, and other than that, the store is perfect.If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up! “Like other DG's the aisles are full, but it's nice that it is kept stocked. I appreciate DG for building stores where there aren't any nearby box stores. This really helps the rural, small town populations.I like my local DG, and I appreciate their being there.”
“They stopped selling Mayfield milk, which is the best around. Even with the milk they are selling now, the coolers are usually not stocked, so I have to go somewhere else for milk. Othere than that, no issues.”
“I was there today, March 7th, at 11:39 am (store number 09147). The name of the young lady who rang me up is not on the receipt but she is really awesome! I go to this store often and she is the associate I come in contact with the majority of the time. I wanted to give her a great shout out because she is always so helpful and has a great sense of humor and demeanor. Well done hiring her and I hope she is appreciated because she appears to be such a great asset! I would hire her in a moment's notice as an employer myself. Thanks!”
“There's this really pretty Assitant manager with colorfull hair that is super help full and really fast at checking people out. In my opinion only one that does her job correctly. I think her name was Jenn. Would shop here again.”

“I used to shop at the Dollar General in Winterville, as it’s right up the road from me. One of the managers, I believe her name is Nancy, has always provided excellent customer service to myself and anyone that walks through the door! I recently found out she moved store locations. Even though it’s out of my way to shop at, because of the way she ran the store and made me feel welcomed and appreciated each trip, I will now shop here in Hull. Great employees don’t get the recognition like they should, so I’m taking my time to thank Dollar General for this WONDERFUL employee!”

“Friendly employees, and honestly the only Dollar General I have been to regularly that is well stocked and you do not have to dodge inventory in the aisles. It is clean and inventory is ACTUALLY ON THE SHELVES. Not missing or still packed in crates and boxes that are in the way. Seriously other stores should follow their example.”
