You might be racist if you racially profile an African American that comes in to buy roughly 8 items at 11am, you stopped restocking your shelves to stand by the register even though you’re not the person checking me out. This is a neighborhood dollar general tough guy, most of the people that visit live in the area and are frequent shoppers. If you suspect someone of stealing , company policy prevents you from being a vigilant for your safety. So at most all you can really do is review camera footage . Next time I come to pick up supplies DO NOT FOLLOW ME.

The staff is on friendly and Unhelpful. They never have anything on the shelf The shelves are empty in void of any product. The freezers are empty.And the staff just walked around and they dont speak anyone not helping anyone or they're leaning up against the counter.

When I first moved to Jackson this dollar general was ok. But the old lady idk her name , she’s a racist and her nurse needs to tend to her. I’ve had encounters where she would lay my receipt on the counter and she wouldn’t even hand me my bag. As if I wanted to touch her anyways , she’s a l**** and I’m not prejudiced. If black be weary of this old lady , she will make your good day bad.

This place needs new management, pronto! Aisles and stock room are always full of product to be stocked, (racks full of toilet paper and such, but shelves empty,) it’s a complete mess in there, they never have what you need, it was remodeled not long ago but you can’t tell, the self checkout register has never worked, like what the hell? But I can go a few miles down the road to the DG on Keys Ferry, which I do often, and the store is clean, neat, stocked and organized.
