I was in the store when Loretta Hampton was trying to use her EBT card. The two employees working at the time were polite and professional. They explained to her that they were not allowed to manually enter EBT card numbers.
In Georgia, manual entry of EBT card numbers at retail locations is generally discouraged and subject to strict guidelines. This information is available on the Georgia EBT website, for anyone who wishes to verify it.
As someone with experience in retail, I understand that each store follows specific policies, and it’s not the fault of the individual employees when those policies must be enforced. I believe the two employees handled the situation appropriately and respectfully, and I will continue to support my Jasper Hwy 53 BP.

I went to this store with a friend and the two ladies working there were very rude and disrespectful my food stamp card would not slide the strip was messed up and I ask her to key it in and she said we do not do that here and I said I have been in here several times and I have done it for me but she would not do it and she would not take our cigarette coupons she said they don't take them there and she said she had worked there for 5 years but I could not tell it both of them were very rude to me and my friend they really don't need to be working there if they don't know what they are doing and neither one of them did so I would think twice about going to this store until they find somebody else to replace them two people

Horrible customer service!! So evidently the BP doesn't take Marlboro coupons and they can't type in a card that the strip doesn't work on?? They can absolutely enter in a card number that the strip doesn't work on because it was done the last time I was there. If you didn't know how to do it, you could have just said that! Tonie had a horrible attitude and stated she had been working there for 5 years and has never entered in a card number?? You could have, you just didn't want to!
