Today the self checkout was only accepting cards so I had no choice but wait in the slow line, which would have been fine except the cashier made it a point to stop and talk to her co worker, which she she was ringing up after every one or two items. I stood in line and listened to directions to make cake pops, then she had rung up about $20 and stopped to make a multi transaction. A DG employee from another store came in and then we hadStop and discuss her schedule. Then cashier and person being rung up had to talk about the other employee. Finally I left. This is ridiculous. I hear so much about other people and drama every time I go in there. Just ring me up and let me leave. Worst location ever and I shop at many!!to stop and discuss her welldiscuss her her schedule and when she would work at this store. Then I think we are going to continue checking out and nooo, we have to talk about other said DG employees. By then I was tired of waiting and no one seemed to even care that I was in line.

Call your loved ones before you go. There is zero cell signal in the store. Otherwise, decent store. Organization needs work. Shelves are messy.

Editing to say that I had a bad interaction with a female worker at the store having attitude when I wanted to remove items from my purchase bc they rang up wrong. I didn't argue just asked to take them off and she stayed adamant explaining they were correct. I just didn't want them at that price.
The male manager at the store is great and I've never had any problems except when he was allowing her to get rude with me when I just wanted to take them off my purchase not argue. He definitely could have told her to refrain her self and handled the problem himself.

Had to stop here after work. And Megan checked me out and she is super sweet and very professional. About time they hired some good folks.

Aisles are too narrow, and lots of stock sitting in buggy's which makes getting down them difficult at times. Workers are friendly and helpful, although a lot of times they run out of items.

Stopped by on my way back home to Athens today and the staff is SO friendly! Had a great conversation with Candy while she was busy stocking, but she still took a couple of minutes to talk to me and help me out!
