Pitch a tent.
This place needs to be condemned.
It is unfit for any habitation.
I was suddenly in a situation which had me to seek for an impromptu reservation in the Jesup area.
According to the reviews, this 'place' was listed as the most rented hotel in the area.
After taking a glance into the rooms (218)_ it was very easy to post this cautionary review.
As others have written_ rusty lamps, the smell of heavy mold/mildew, and just old and unacceptable.
Stay away.
I would choose the Mallard Arms (even close to the train station) before I would lay down in this disgust.
Not recommended whatsoever.

Terrible experience breakfast was horrid and none of the utensils or cups or bowls were provided the rooms smelt like urinals and I’m pretty sure I heard gunshots outside!

STAY AWAY. This is basically a welfare hotel. Other ‘clientele’ were hanging outside on plastic chairs a hootin and a hollerin and doing god knows what. Didn’t feel safe leaving car outside. The room was… well, look at the pics. Visible mold. Carpeting GONE in spots, exposing tack strips and nails. I would have left, but it is in the middle of nowhere, it was the middle of the night and I had been driving for many hours and was too tired to safely keep going. I showered in flipflops, put down towels on top of the sheets and slept in my clothes on top of those and still assumed there were bedbugs and washed all in hot water and showered as soon as I got home…

Don't stay here! It looks like it's never been updated since the beginning of time. Exposed wires in the room. Smoke detectors missing. Says they have a fitness room but they're using it as storage. Pool is locked. Homeless hangout around back and from the smell, have no problem going to the bathroom outside.

Steve at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Great service from him. Rooms are what you’d expect from a 2star. Not phenomenal but livable, comfortable beds. Good Value.

Clean, basic room. A bit worn, but generally OK. Door security a bit lacking though. The morning of departure my father-in-law didn't notice that the door latch was still set and opened the door without unlatching it, made no difference it sheared right off as if made of butter. Also, the numerous cracks around the door frame lead me to suspect the general integrity of the door itself.

I visited this hotel on Saturday, March 22. Upon entering, I looked around and noticed that it was rundown. My sister went in to take a shower, but the water began to back up, which we decided to overlook. We left for a family event and returned around 1:30 AM. By 4:30 AM, we were ready to leave because I had been bitten by bedbugs all over my arm and face.
We went to speak with someone at the front desk to report the problem. From the reaction of the lady at the front desk, it was clear that she was already aware of the situation. I requested some bags to put my belongings in so I wouldn’t take any bedbugs home with me and asked how they would compensate us for cleaning our clothes. Instead of assisting, she called the police.
When the police arrived, they informed us that we were not in any trouble and suggested that I file a civil suit against the hotel. They did refund the money for the room, but as for the clothing and other items that might have been infested with bedbugs, they said that was our responsibility. It’s frustrating to think about having to transport bedbugs in our vehicle; they ruined our entire weekend.

Clean, basic, decent value. Shower was very good. Room needs updated. I very much noticed rust on the lamps had stained into the lamp shades and a cigarette burn or two in the new spread. But, the bed was reasonable and somewhat comfortable.
If they would spend just a little bit of money on this place it wouldn't be far from being very nice.
No regrets it fulfilled what I needed and the young man at the front desk last night was really friendly
